Well, today i've already spoken to the Halifax about an account i'm having probs with. They keep promising to get in touch but they never do . I'm giving them until the end of this week, if nothing is resolved then i'm taking my business elsewhere. Looked into other banks this morning and the co-op looks a good choice.
Been very good, paid in extra money today to pay off various bills before the next statement arrives. :j For once i'm paying more than the minimum! It's such a great feeling. :j:j:j
The ironing will be done today.
Then off to mum's to be fed and watered. :rotfl:
Hope your all getting some lovely weather today. :easter:0 -
The washing machine belt arrived :j and lasted about 15 mins before it came off again  will now deal with it later! Fingers crossed it hasnt snapped  If its not sorted by the morning then Im going to sit down the launderette, cant go on like this!
Thanks for the tips Andan, do I need to close this ISA to be able to open another? Or just make sure I dont add any money? And the money thats in the ISA now, can I leave that there, or do I have to take it out? And when does it all have to be done by? The money is coming out shortly to pay the rent anyhow, but just so I know lol.0 -
Hi Everyone
Candy - hope the job searching goes well.
Was pretty busy yesterday. Still have loads to do this holiday so need to get plodding. Here is my list today:- tidy living room - clear clutter, dust and vacuum
- Vacuum hall and stairs
- dry washing on airers
- fold and put away ironing that was completed yesterday.

Cleosmum, you don't need to close your existing isa, just keep it where it is, don't add any money to it and it will keep on earning interest. My suggestion would be either to keep paying into this one or get a new better paying one and leave this old one where it is, although you can't pay into it, you will still be earning interest on it.
There is no time limit in which it has to be done, its available to you for whenever. Just remember that if you want to add to it, then this must be the only isa for this tax year, ie since 6th April 09, that you have been paying into.

does anyone know.....at work we have loads of out of date printer inks where people dont even have the printers anymore. Obviously will check I am allowed before doing anything but if I cant find anyone who can make use of them I have to chuck them out. If it is ok'd by boss, is there anywhere I can send them and make some pennies?
All still fully sealed in their boxes - is about 30 of them!DFW 228 LONG H 68

I have seen them for sale on ebay, most people don't tend to take much notice of dates on ebay, especially when it comes in ink cartridges for printers.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hello my fellow small DF Daily girls! and to any boys who might be amongst you!
Today I have:- Checked my banking (I checked the balance at least)
- Made another payment to a debt I owe, so feeling good
- Received an email telling me I had sold a book on GM! YAY ME!
- Got the washing in off the line - need to do an underwear load but that has to go in the dryer, nobody likes crunchy pants and socks do they?
- Scoffed some of my homemade biccies. Mmmmmm
- May do some more baking later, anyone got the recipe for the famous Twinks Hobnobs?
- Had brunch at home
- Will shower today and not bath, to save water
- Ridden my horse, well someone else did - might get a sharer plus they will pay me a contribution so I can throw more £ at my debt
- Walked the dog and will walk again later on today
- Some money has cleared through on my daily clicks but since I've been out of work I have not really been doing them. Must get disciplined again.
Need to buy a new printer cartridge, any suggestions where from and anywhere with cashback? Could just go to Staples but don't want to throw money away if I can get it cheaper elsewhere.
The sun has got his hat on hip hip hooray...... happy Tuesday all.
PS - Had an interview yesterday, seemed to go well and think I'll be invited back for the next session. Hello to my fellow redundancy DFW's on here.
