My £100 has tracked fine. Hopefully they pay fairly promptly and in 3-4 months I can see what other cashback offers are available. Seems a good way to Offset the cost of heating the house!

Only concern is that if the companies feel they're being led a merry dance by the serial switchers they may stop offering the incentives. Hopefully enough people stick and I can keep moving!

My plan too Chambta - plus a nice bit to come from BG from the credit on my account when the transfer happens :)

I found SP good for electric but very poor on dual fuel and gas only.
I switched electric only and have tracked at £40 (missed this deal as was too quick! Poo)
Notice that Quidco states that if you have applied for the earlier cashback offers then you will not get this, so maybe worth starting a new account with them. (£5 fee obviously and clear your caches first)
    Nothing to see here

Has anyone done this successfully when they have been a previous customer of SP?

I was with them a few years ago for duel fuel...

A few years ago? I've been given a second cashback from Scottish Power only a few weeks after my prior custom.

They really have to sort this out and stop this offensive nonsense.

    That's good to know.

I didn't think it would make a difference but was worried by posts in here saying about people being a previous customer.

I'll give it a go then - seems daft not to!

    Hi

I have not had much luck with this deal.

I went through Quidco last week and it showed as tracked within 24 hours, at £100.

I noticed yesterday it had been declined, no idea why as I have never been a SP customer before.

I did fail to make a note of the application number when I applied, my mistake, so I had to email SP to try and get a number so I could track it.

They replied this morning to say they could find no trace of my application even though I know it went through.

Just checked Quidco and the cashback has changed to £62.

All seems very odd to me, so I will not proceed any further chasing this via Quidco unless SP proceed with the change.
