    If they are using internal scoring I should be ok cos I have been squeaky clean for about 3 yrs as far as they are concerned.

    as far as I know most banks do nowadays but it isn't a guarantee, maybe this just pushes things your way if they are deliberating a yes/no decision purely based on credit score shortcomings... what that means is they would primarily use the info from your credit file and if that was ok, they are likely to give you the card if you bank with them as they have history on you.... :rolleyes:

    Don't know what my apr is like or anything yet though.

    Was it pre-approved?

    What naughties do you have on your file...
    Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
    Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000
    6 credit accounts closed in 2010!

    Don't know limit yet... Did have a default on my file but I never received the default notice so i battled to get it removed, which it now is.

    But my credit score is only about 490 on experian/equifax and call credit.

    The card was not pre approved but i noticed that once my default was removed i could then get an overdraft so i figured i might as well give it a go.

    Have had a vanquis card for about 8 months so that has helped i think.
