Rubbish reception on some channels Why?

Options
I have a TV with intergrated Freeview. During the past week - 10 days the reception of BBC1, BBC2 and BBC3 are rubbish and unwatchable. There hasn't been any rubbish weather recently. The 2 other TVs that are digital (one intergrated and one with a digibox) work fine.

What's going on?

Either the aerial feed or the cabling - try it attached to the good aerial feed

Indeed, try the TV using the other aerial, it is almost certainly an aerial problem.

Ive had some problems with mine recentley, although its not integrated.

I kept getting No service msgs, then the programme would come back up

I think that there was some work going on at the mast in Wembley (I think they said Wembley was the closest one to me anyway)
I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:

Depends what you call rubbish. There has been high pressure recently which can lead to temperature inversions leading to tropospheric ducting of TV (and other) signals....

On analogue the result is usually some banding on the picture or in really severe cases you can actually see two different pictures interleaved. On digital it leads to picture breakup.

There were a couple of posts similar to yours last week. Strangely enough they said BBC channels only too but were on different transmitters otherwise I'd suspect that the power had been reducedd

Do a re-install, just to basically re-learn all the channels. Something (I know not what, but both the grandparents, and our TV in the bedroom) threw a hissy fit for Freeview. Re-learnt all the channels, et voila! All is now ok. Have no idea why, but it seems to work.

Rubbish reception is a standard feature on many freeview channels...

Are you using a single antenna and a distribution amp to feed your three tellies? If so,have you tried swapping the connections on the amp?
