Of course, had the same person invested into, for example, Neptune's Russia & Greater Russia fund on 06/04/2009, they'd be looking at gains in excess of 50% just over that period. Compared with equities, gold has done very badly over the last 6 months.Moderators, this poster is obviously bonkers.

Any equity fund failing to return about 20% or more over the last 6 months was seriously unlucky.
