Yes, Plusnet use BT ADSL not LLU, look at the Broadband Availability overview on Samknows, ADSL will be ticked which means you can connect to any ISP that uses BT Wholesale ADSL including Plusnet.
Your usage depends on how much and the type of downloading you do, if it is just email and general surfing then 10GB will be more than adequate.0 -

Hi
I have just switched to plus net and I have found them to be a very good comapny so far as long as you read all the small print and stuff I would say they are an ok comapny to use
spooky 250 -
my virginmedia bundle runs out in a couple of months.
I have phone, broadband & tv for 30quid.
I dont use the phone and i rarely watch the rubbish on tv now, so i just want broadband.
I want wireless broadband, I am considering plusnet value.
i have checked the samknows website and i am market 3, so thats good news,
but i have a couple of questions
on samknows website it says in the broadband availability overview, no in the wireless section??
Also do i have to pay line rental to BT? or is it just th £5.99 a month, i do have a BT line aswell.
thanks0 -
If you mean can I still use a wireless router with plusnet, then yes.
And yes you still have to pay rental for a phone line - though you can choose whether you want to remain with BT or go to any other line provider (assuming you aren't in a minimum contract with BT)0 -
Depends what you mean by wireless broadband.
If you mean that the broadband arrives at your house by wire (phone line) and connects to a wireless router then as Quentin says, yes Plusnet can do this and you pay line rental for the phone line (BT or whoever). Technically though, this isn't wireless broadband although many people call it that.
If you mean that the broadband arrives at your house wirelessly (without using the phone line), then no Plusnet doesn't do that.0 -
