.. Elle - I should point out that as u don't have air con I assume you don't have the luxury of automatic and/or cruise control like me
so I'd say driving is getting more and more like a bad idea :undecided does ur mum not drive then?
Steady on - OH is still impressed I have heated front windscreen and mirrors!
Mum does drive, but she's not hugely confident about unknown roads/routes and has had panic attacks whilst/about driving so I don't want to stress her out by her contemplating doing any of the driving
ETA: Yes, staying overnight on the Friday night (booked ages ago) but not bought the tickets yet - don't know whether to go for Friday or Saturday.. any recommendations?0 -

I've never actually used it for real clothes as I'm worried they will come out looking like Barbie and Ken's!
xx
I wash our clothes and OH towels (likes them rough) here and dry them on airers, and then when we go to my parents' for tea I take the bedding and my towels (like them soft!) and wash them there and use their tumble dryer then bring them home again0 -

I had a bad hip toward the end last time that made changing gear painful so I'm soo glad I have an automatic now0 -
I think it actually might be a standard Ford thing these days.. OH was saying something about it the other week. My car is only the "LX" version which I think is the basic or second basic one you could get at the time, 2003 - didn't buy it new so never looked at the different model options really. It was a pretty blue colour and had a CD player.. what more did I need?
ETA: Hmm.. in hindsight, the answer to "what more did I need?" is Isofix points, longer seatbelts and two more doors! :cool:0 -
I'm not much help, elle, as we are going on the Sunday, the same as last year. Its the last day of the show and lots of things were reduced

Hubby bought me cinnamon waffle icecream last week... Half price in Tesco and yes it was yum!!! Was going to tell you all about it but it was Friday night
Funny you should mention airers Tine, I just got hubby to rescue mine from the back of the built in cupboard, I shall be clearing space for it in the dining room this week so I can leave it in there out of the way to dry...
Is Sunday the best day to go to the baby show then SB? Are there still loads of freebies? I soooooo desperately want to go... Just depends on baby making it's entrance in a timely fashion.. Which probably won't happen...
Oh, and our boys names are down to 2 choices... Gabriel or Dexter anyone?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Yes, there were still lots of fab freebies (and a free holding service so you can go around and collect a second time and pick up the old stash on your way out). I've been told before that vendors reduce prices on the last day but I guess that could be a load of waffle and I'll never know!
PS: think I'm swaying towards Dexter!
