For those who are 31wks plus and have had a fairly trouble / pain free pregnancy so far (anyone left?!), would you consider driving three hours inc on M1? (so plenty of opps for stops at service stations).

I'm just contemplating train or driving to the Baby Show in May...

    Thanks!
Elle I'm 31+4 and I reckon I'd be fine, but would prefer to be driven or get train if it's quicker as you can get up and stretch legs on train without adding 10-20mins to journey time (down side is train loos _pale_)

Ps. would you be staying overnight? I know I'd deff be too tired to drive home again after the baby show!

I'm 34+1 and personally... I'd say don't make your mind up till you are a lot closer :rotfl:
You could be lucky and feel like driving - or like me you could be seriously uncomfy and find driving not only affecting your back and hips, but also recently my ankles... :(
Thankfully not everyone has problems and you will probably be fine, but if you can then don't decide for definite till a lot closer!

We have two airers and no tumble dryer.. Come to think of it, I can only see one right now so the other one must be in the garden - will send OH out for it when he wakes up! (it's only been there since this morning) :o

They are quite often on special offer in Netto if anyone wants one. Usually about £7 the week after I buy a new one for £15+

    Me please :D

:rotfl: My OH is sat across from me eating butterscotch angel delight with the big plastic serving spoon I left in the bowl after serving it up! :rotfl:

Elle - I should point out that as u don't have air con I assume you don't have the luxury of automatic and/or cruise control like me ;) so I'd say driving is getting more and more like a bad idea :undecided does ur mum not drive then?

  • I dry all the childrens clothes on a traditional type airer and our clothes go on a tripod thingy with arms. I do love my tumbley though but generally use that for bedding and towels when the weather is bad.

I've never actually used it for real clothes as I'm worried they will come out looking like Barbie and Ken's! :D
