Just bought a baguette on lunch, and i bit into the last bit and noticed something on the roll. I had a look at it looked alot like a little green bug :(
I spat out the sandwhich and threw the rest away lol.

It was a shame, it was a quite nice baguette to lol

_pale_ but still, we pg women need loads of protein, & it was an extra filling you didn't have to pay for! :rotfl:Now you'll need to fill the gap with some chocolate! :D

About 6 months ago, my toddler was watching a slater (woodlouse) crawling on the floor, took my eyes off him & when I looked around, he was crunching something! Didn't get much back off him, but was def the slater!

Woohoo, I just bought our nappies off eBay, £40 cheaper than they are on the little lambs website... Decided to get a full pack of size ones to be going on with then spread out a little when we get to size two... Get a mixture of different makes...

Also discovered Argos have a child version of the Dazzle... Only available for home delivery at the minute, looks like it's last years toy... So hubby's going to pop into the argos bargain clearance shop on his way home and see if they have any in there... Think Aimee would enjoy pushing the same buggy as Mummy :)

And on the subject of Aimee... She has another water infection... But it looks like she's had it for weeks, as long as she's been ill anyway... And if the hospital had forwarded the results of her water sample to the Dr she could of been treated weeks ago, as it was I had to go down to the Dr and request a sample before they would do anything... So the receptionist rang me before lunch to say Aimee needed a prescription 'urgently' didn't say what to do with the antibiotics they put her on on Tuesday and they're closed for the bank holiday now, so I had to ring NHS Direct to clarify... Honestly!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Buuuut :D Work gave out an easter egg for everyone earlier. Had a malteasers one :D

There was an option of having the egg for yourself or giving the egg to charity, so i said "To be fair charitys need money not chocolate" and i had the egg :)
Will donate some money Friday when the collection people come round :D

I feel really strange and not in a good way...

Tired and sore all over, BP is way down too so I think I'm getting that bug the kids have had. Awesome.

And we have a mortgage guy coming at 4pm, I was also supposed to go to cash and carry but didn't as I don't feel well so DH will no doubt go off on one about how lazy I am when he gets home. Again, awesome.

  • Hi all

sorry i couldn't reply to posts - been interviewing all day... knackered now (why is it things like travelling and interviewing, that involved sitting down for long periods of time are so tiring?:p)

Thanks tiama_d and skintchick for your views... am feeling a lot more relaxed...

Septemberbaby (me too btw: 14th!) yes we are going ask the 'flavour' though more so we have longer to argue about names!! As you might have gathered, am not a pink and blue person so it's not about buying clothes or decorating the nursery (we're doing a sea scene on light blue walls - will have stencils out this weekend = really looking forward to it :D) but so we can get to think about the baby as a he or a she (as well as the name thing!) DH is happy either way and am sure I will be too

gena - so sorry to hear your news. I can't imagine how that must feel. Give yourself some time to deal with it and try to really look after yourself (it's amazing how hard being kind to yourself can be, especially for women, I find) We're all wishing you all the very best

Oh dear - more bad news! (((hugs))) to Gena

Well I went to Consultant - what a waste of time. She asked me why I was there  and I said 'You tell me!'
Seems there was no need for me to be under Hospital so I am now back to MW led :j
As I had paid £2 for car park and waited an hour I said 'As I've wasted my time could I be cheeky and listen to the heartbeat?'

Of course!! MW came in, urine normal, BP 100/60 and as for the heartbeat
'It will take me a while to find it' (I get my phone at the ready!) she found it straight away! Oh was amazing that little galloping hooves!

And................ my oven's fixed :j:j. I can have a roast dinner on Sunday now. Yay!!!

Oh, Sami - sorry to hear about your dog - have some dodgy hugs :grouphug:
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I'm having a bit of a rollercoaster day, one of the ladies at work had gone on maternity leave last week, we found out today she had the baby but lost it....

and then another lady brought in her little girl who'll be the same age as ours will be next yr....

it's all made me really teary and emotional....I can't even begin to imagine carrying my baby for 9 months and then losing him/her....

And why does it have to have two names? Children aren;t fashion accessories - they don;t have to match!

Maybe the parents liked the idea of two names? Im almost certain we are talking about a little girl here - so there is no need to call her it. My child soon to be children are not fashion accessories but there names roll together and we spent alot of time choosing names that went nicely together and didnt clash with the surname - names are important, the most important thing is the parents are happy!
