Hi all, funny you mentioning Troway Hall Quillion,I suffer from bad hayfever and buy my honey from there,I have it on toast every morning during the hayfever season, makes a big difference to me.

Also please do wear sunglasses, this stops the pollen getting in your eyes in the first place,I have found the best tablets are by Galpharm, they do 2 different ones, one containing Loratadine and the other contains cetrizine,The Loratadine works best for me,Funnily enough the one with cetrizine works best for my brother

Dont pay a lot for these as they are available in Home Barbains for about 69p a pack

    Hope that helps someone.

SSL thanks for that - I always buy hertforshire honey - I can get one which is from just a few streets away sometimes. Trouble is DS3 doesn't like honey - he has had cake today with it in but not sure if it is still effective if it has been cooked?

I'm sure where ever I read it, it said take a teaspoonful from the jar. I will make further enquiries and get back to you. But then if DS3 doesnt like honey, thats not really much help. I do sympathise, DD doesnt like honey either and I try to force feed her it when she has a sore throat.

ETA - I might give that a go Mo5. I cant take cetrizine with my prozac, it knocks me loopy!

WDYTYA Jane Horrocks on Watch+ now - she is talking about how learning to peg out your washing is passed down the generations.
I saw that when it was on the first time LOL
she's from Rawtenstall - not far from where your very own Valli originated LOL
    AND
very impressed that she is actually related to 'The Horrockses' I have some of their pillowcases
so OF COURSE she pegs out on a line - we were brought up to it LOL

(when she was Bubble in AbFab I was famous for doing an impression of her - but if truth be told I just reverted to my original accent and said the things she said ...every little helps :rotfl:)

I have been given a VERY useful bag of books by DS's GF's mum who is a teacher but is now working as a special needs teacher visiting many schools...and a number line and all sorts of stuff:D

Well remembered Quillion - s'near where I work that - but I had forgotten about it...
and another teacher flying like mad here, too! Must remember that for if my intermittent hayfever kicks in...if I get it all those regular sufferers are having it bad - it has to be a very high pollen count to hit me...
Incidentally Froddy - nice to see lots of crossing off on your 'permanent' list IYSWIM...I worry that you are lining up 'difficult' jobs together - spread those boxes out...
See we do read your lists...cos we are nosy and sad LOL

Incidentally the boys pulled in about £30 yesterday carwashing - then my DS, for whom money is to be spent immediately, has blown his share in HMV on 4 DVDs:rolleyes: bargain apparently.
I have been CROSS with him - it might well have been a bargain BUT it was ALL THE MONEY HE HAD...

I couldn't find it either - thought I was being a bit slow. Anyway, ended up using one from google pics and so ended up with rather a big one!
