Hi, all and hope you all having a lovely day. Are we getting a list tomorrow, it being a bank holiday?
Sarahshattered has someone reported that nonsense?
Attention seeking nonsense at that.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I did make it to Church, and we had an Easter egg hunt, very jolly.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Thanks Penny. Well done on completing the whole week again. I wonder whether anyone else has managed to keep up with you? Toots will have to start a hall of fame for total number of weeks completed/continuous weeks completed!
I too have done every list since the stars started - I find them oddly motivating.

Greenbee - I think I'd need a picture - I can't quite visualise the liquidizer with a spout. And I can't improve on the carpet cleaning advice. - Oh - belay my last - Dusty's post about the chitty chitty bang bang contraption - maybe a steamer would help (the wallpaper type?)
Rose - hugs about the service. But I'm going to be curious here - you can tell me to bog off immediately if you like - but do JWs celebrate Easter - or is it another particularly special service today? Or do you make a point of going so that you're not surrounded by the general easter stuff? My lilbro's wife is a convert to RC although she attends an anglican church mainly. Last night, after leaving here, she was going to a friend's confirmation at the RC church. Seems it was going to be two hours long because it was followed by a vigil or something :eek: She didn't particularly want to go but she felt she should support her friend.
Had an afternoon tucked away with my long dead ancestors and updating my genealogy website here and there.
Seems I missed the fun about the thanks. The day has remained grey apart from about 10 minutes about an hour ago. DD was round so it was 'quick, out in the garden and sit in the sun'. It was really warm until the cloud came back after a few minutes.
I have put a duck in the oven to roast. DD took the remaining left overs from yesterday's lunch for her dinner tonight (some salad pickings, a couple of chicken bits and a hot cross bun - there was no salmon coul-boolie-bibliac left) so that's the fridge nicely decluttered.
Piggers - in the spirit of bank holidayness - can we be allowed to chat tomorrow too? It's really an extended weekend - Pretty Please?I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Unless she is really unwell (and with the pox they are usually unwell before the spots come out and for the first day or two) please don't go to A&E; they will be busy with GPs shut and she could pass it on to people who are really ill with poor immunity there.
Glad you said that Dusty, because I didn't word it very well when I said about waiting in the car...:o I did mean don't go in with everyone else there, but didn't actually say that... doh!
Sarah, goldfish brain, well... ummm, what was I saying, oh yes, goldfish brain I think it was... where was I, oh yes, think I said about having a goldfish brain......

Inspired by last weeks throw 100 things out does anyone want to join me in a throw/recycle/sell 100 things a day challenge for next week?
We put up the stud walls for the en suite and a built in wardrobe for our room yesterday, then re-arranged our BR at 10pm - looks lovely now but I was quite shocked at just how much junk I am holding on to. Plan is to do half an hour a day on getting rid or re-homng as appropriate. I still have no storage so no temptation to hold on to stuff.

Hex - 100 things was bad enough trying to find in one day last week when I was off work. 100 things everyday for a week would be nigh on impossible for me - unless I spent the time frantically digging in the plug holes for more hairs. 10 would be better...
