Hi AnW’s hope you had a great time in York. It is my favourite city and I haven’t been there for too long. Did you go to Betty’s Tea Room? I’m so jealous of you going there! I’ve been to World of James Herriot, and to Eden Camp I think – I remember going to a place that smelt funny when I was quite young and I think it is Eden Camp! Great about W riding his bike!
Soappie, all books will be gratefully received over here if you are having a clear out! But it’s easy to sell them on Amazon, I expect you already know that. DH is selling some of his dad’s books – all you have to do is type in the ISBN no and then the site knows what book you want to sell! Cool huh!
Rach, I’m intrigued to know more about the wasgij? Cool about your friend and DT too! If you mean you grew up in Harrogate, wow! Did you go to Betty’s Tea Room all the time?
Frodders and SSL, I was very moved by the tributes on MOTD too. I don’t normally watch it, try to ignore it actually, but the emotion Alan Hansen was obviously feeling when he spoke of that awful event and the minute’s silence was very moving indeed. Nice to hear about Sol Campbell. Celebrities have a lot of power to do good if only they can be bothered to do so!
Embb, well done for ironing. Hangers facing the same way is just good sense, otherwise it gets irritating when you try to get something out of the cupboard!
Hugs Dusty xxx
Mozzy, it’s not insect bites is it?
Thanks Kaz on the info on the free tickets, I’ve applied for some for DH – I bet he would love that!
Hi Gryfon, nice to see you back

Morning all,
Easter wishes to all, currently having a lazy morning making a list of things that need doing. We got back last night and have had a lovely lazy week watching calves being born and taking the dog for long walks, my aunt and uncle have spoilt us all and i thinkthe rest had done us all good.
I am not going to try to catch up with this weeks lists but try to give most rooms a quick s&s and then attempt level 3 every day starting Monday.
Hope all here have had a good week and enjoy the rest of the Easter weekend.0 -
SarahShattered...drowning under clutter and mess here! Got rid of the two big children to France with my parents for two weeks, but small girl is making enough mess for both of them and more! Also damaged my back doing rugby training last Tuesday so that's really stiff which doesn't help when I have the housework to do! So fed up really! However on another site I'm doing housework in 3's so I'm still managing to do small things which do add up!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

:rotfl:It's self-inflicted (in a way) pain as I went to a "Power Yoga" class on Friday, and overdid it, so I've discovered muscles that haven't been used for a while, and they are objecting!
I'm making sure that they are recovered before I go back to the gym again as I'm trying to do their marathon challenge (completing 26.2miles over 2 weeks to win a holiday or a pair of expensive trainers), and I think that using the crosstrainer will make my muscles hurt more at the moment. Walking and going up and down the stairs is hard enough, and OH laughed at me last night cos I sneezed, and my stomach muscles hurt. :rotfl:

rosepink - I didn't go to Betty's all the time but have been quite a few times. My BiL used to assistant manage one of them! I used to pack the coffee in the factory in my uni hols. see here for more info on wasgijs - I love them!
well, I didn't make church...was all ready and thought DH was coming too when he said he wasn't and that I'd be late..thus ensued a bit of a tiff which would've definitely made me late, and I didn't want to go late on my own, so didn't go. crap I know. I think I need to find a church where I actually want to get up and go, this one is not it! BUT, i've now started my job app so all is not lost. Just need to find my most up to date cv to crib from it. DH is sitting watching tv which is annoying as he apparently was staying home to work, but hey, he needs his down time too I guess.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
