Oh my lovely flyers, I disappeared again! Is there no end to my house-cleaning slackness?
Well, first my sister came to visit for two days, then I went to visit my dad for two days, then the kids went away for two days, so DH and I have been all alone! :j All in all, I've had a great week, so I really can't feel that guilty about not looking after the house, it's just been so good to have a rest and get to know my husband again.
Today, the children will be back, so DH and I plan to whizz through the house before they get here, I'm hoping that my batteries will now be recharged for the coming weeks.
I haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread and to be honest, I don't think I'll have much opportunity today (I'm sitting on the sofa and I've just realised how absolutely, disgustingly filthy it is. My god, I hope that's chocolate...), so hugs to all that need them, congrats to all that deserve them and best wishes to all and sundry.
Take care and fly high!:D0 -
Morning all! Happy Easter!!
Not doing any flying today as it's my birthday so I think I'll have a day off!!!
Went to Magscat's house on Friday and [STRIKE]cheated[/STRIKE] got confused while adding up at scrabble so I actually won a game!! Then we went to the gym and swam, had a steam and a sauna and tried out the jacuzzi, v v v relaxing
might have a long soak in the bath next as OH got me a gorgeous smellies set for b'day
weather is grey and nasty but I don't care!!!
:j:easter_baGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
:easter_ba Happy Easter!:easter_baThank you all for the welcome back! Woke up very early this morning, and have already got the second lot of washing on. I didn't bother to do any while we were away, so five bags full to do...
Dusty - the church that is on the highest point, Notre Dame de la Garde, http://academie.sla.mars.free.fr/ndg-g-28-23.jpg) (sorry, can't do the proper linky thing) is supposed to look after all the people in Marseilles - well, she does watch over all of them, you can see it from practically everywhere in the city. In the crypt there are the usual banks of candles lit, and I wanted to light one for the flyladies who have needed one recently, so I was thinking of you all! Nothing particularly significant, but it is for some reason quite an emotional place. The views are literally breathtaking.
Washing machine stopped spinning, so off to refill, and stick the chicken in the oven...

Welcome Home serena and AnW'sMum
Well I've been up for quite a while, and have booked my ticket for the meet on the 25th - don't worry Rach I saw your post about Waterloo, and my Daysave ticket (£10 for unlimited travel on the Southern network) also covers London Bridge. :T
Have flung a few more things, and now only have 50/100 to fling, so have put that on OH's list for this week.
I must go and prepare my breakfast, as I can't sit around all day in my nightie - we're going to my Mum's at 3pm for her HM simnel cake and hot cross buns, so don't know whether we'll bother with lunch as it's getting late now.
I'm still in too much pain today to go to the gym, so will go tomorrow as they're open 8am-7pm despite the bank holiday.
Off to add my mealplan to the other thread now, as I didn't do it last week, and am keen to look at everyone else's.
Take care everyone, and have a lovely day.
