    Evening all

Decided to watch a bit of tv this evening, gardeners world and then a program about Sissinghurst - I was a bit confused at the end about Sarah Raven so need to dig out what happens there. BBC4 is becoming my favourite chanel.

I did do some hand sewing whilst watching and lit the fire to save putting the heating on. RE gas bills - our bill this winter compared with last winter is £600 v £400 our units were just 20 more and considering it was alot colder it just goes to show how much the price has risen and yes we have swopped supplier during that time to get a better rate.

Toots - those bunnies coming out of the eggs are so cool - I'm going to have to finish my list now - I want one.

Just going to set the WM and then off to read for a bit in bed.

OH has taken everything off of the kitchen worktop to oil it so I can put it all back neatly in the morning.

    Sleep tight flyers xx

    FRIDAY'S LIST DONE TOOTS

    Hope everyone's well. Tomorrow's list:
    Trixy
    Check emails
    Shopping
    Dishes
    Laundry
    Check bins
    Brain training
Continue tidying up spare room (ongoing)

    Goodnight
  • But if they start putting things through before you have finished loading then they pile up at the other end:confused: (not that I ever find a checkout without a queue so I always have time to load my shopping in the order I want it at the other end)

Come to think of it that annoys me too - no pleasing some folks eh

Someone (sorry can't remember who) mentioned feeling they were becoming one of the 'grumpy old women' - I definitely am. When I watch it I find myself saying 'yes I do that', 'yes I do that' over and over again - and not thinking there is anything unusual in the behaviour

Well I'm packed and sorted so just going to S&S kitchen and bathroom so nice and clean for when we get back. Leaving at 4.45 in the morning (DDs ex BF taking us to Gatwick so making it easier for us) Will have laptop with me so feel sure I will be having a little peek to see what is going on, but no flying for me.

Will be lovely to come back to a house which is in a much better state than at the beginning of the week.

You need to work on this clumsiness Rach - perhaps start dropping dishes when you're washing up, accidently ~cough~ burn one of his shirts when ironing etc. etc. ;)

Now soappie, you know me better than that.....would I iron his shirts? No chance!! (actually he doesn't wear shirts...the joys of us both working in the charity sector is that there's no such thing as 'work clothes'!)

rose - weird dream. and well done on the washing up! and rose and mummyof5 - you might not know, my job is promoting walking - pm me if you want a pack of stuff to help motivate you!

we're trying to decide whether to get up early to walk the next stretch of the thames path tomorrow....my inclination is not to, as I'm strangely shattered and achey, perhaps not 100% well I think, but it's the last chance we have before DH's exams late May as he needs to work the rest of the weekends. I'm hoping my plying him with wine and beer has put him off the idea!

Hello all, got BB working again so popping in to say hello.

Hope you are all ok, not going to risk catching up too much and loosing the connection I've managed to get (soooo slow!!) I called 3 and we're in an area they'd class as good coverage but on further inspection we're in the middle of 2 masts so it's probably why it's such a pest. I've managed to download the drivers to use blackbug as a modem so will see if that works in a mo.

I've been flying very well as the weather has been poop, not all day but showers mostly then rain since 7pm, in a way done all rooms today - our room shook sheets off (throw overs) I'd changed the duvet before DP went home, swept/dustbuster as I forgot vacuum cleaner but DP bringing it Monday - quite sad as keep finding little bits of Megan fluff, boys beds aired off, bathroom cleaned out fully, laundry sorted (undies hand washed - might need to do DS2 some clothes but trying to resist £5 washers!) cleared out and reorganised all the cupboards, cleaned all the fronts (is loads) cleaned all 8 windows plus sky light, cleaned the 2 tables, cleaned oven/grill/hob.......then the usual loo emptying, water refill/waste emptying, cooking/washing up (my hands miss my dishwasher!!) dog feeding/walking etc.

It's extremely busy here now, crazy in fact, I think all 260 pitches plus extra are full of tents/caravans, some with several tents a pitch. Gone from being about 25 on site Monday to about 60 by Thursday then today thee is hundreds. I must say I am looking forward to Monday when most people have cleared off! Not antisocial but it's a bit too busy. Will be making the most of relaxing this weekend and not using the facilities as much while they are packed! Got a pile of studying to catch up on, then this cold which isn't making me feel up to doing loads.

Right, off to see if I can get farm town to load, DS2 was playing on it earlier lol, night night all xxx
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
