    Getting there!

Ooo Toots I just wanted to say it looks like I have been given 3 stars in error (instead of one for Monday) - however, bear with me as I should earn the other two today when I do the stairs, coats and mopping!

    Living room, hall and stairs!
    Level three
Vacuum right the way up the stairs!
Sort through coats n bags n shoes etc

    Kitchen
    mop the floor

    bathroom/loo and cruddy study!
    Level One
    Declutter the clutter!
throw out 100 things from the house!
    Level Two
    Wash/vacuum floors
    Level Three
Wash all the windows and doors

    Friday fun! - childrens rooms
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear the floors in the childrens room.. throw out any broken toys and find some that are no longer needed that can be sent to charity shop or given away.[/STRIKE]
Drag everything out from under the bed too.. there is floor under there!!
    Level Two
    Change the childrens bedding/wash curtains
Vacuum mattress (after turning) and floors
    Wash window
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Sort through a clothing cupboard.. anything outgrown?
Put any discs back in cases and books back on shelves etc[/STRIKE]
Dust.. lightshades, curtain poles, games consoles/PC's etc
    Extras
Make sure [STRIKE]coats and shoes and uniforms are ready for school and [/STRIKE]homework is all done so you can relax the second week of holidays!
[STRIKE]Wipe any sticky handprints and dirty marks off walls and doors
Wipe down the paintwork & radiators [/STRIKE]
    Clean out any pets!

    Morning everyone:hello:
I can't believe that I've managed to grab hold of the puter before DH.:T He's constantly on it all the time still. From the time he gets up to the time he goes to bed playing this stupid poker game:rolleyes::mad: Which is why I'm not posting much at all.

As is usual these days I'm so behind with what everyone is doing or not doing etc. So I hope everyone is OK and I am really missing you all I have to say.

I've quickly skimmed this last page - mOZzy I see your still not sleeping. Me either. But, the last 2 days I've stayed up till 1.00am then read my book for half an hour and I've managed between 4 - 6 hours straight sleep:j I've decided it's better to stay up late and wake early anytime from 5.00am onwards than to be tossing and turning at 2, 3 and 4 in the morning.

I also have to confess to having had the few roll up ciggies over the last week as well.:o No more than 5, tops a day. Most days it's only 2 or 3. I'm not very happy with myself but at least I haven't bought any and the plus side is that I can take them or leave them IYSWIM.:o:o

Just to keep on topic though - flying wise I gutted DD's bedroom yesterday. She's at Nanny's so I've had a wail of a time sorting and flinging to my hearts content, without her around to fish back out what I've flung;) So today I plan to clean it, which won't take long and perhaps whizz the carpet cleaner over it quickly. Never no I might actually get a star.

Off to do something.....not quite sure what yet but fingers crossed I'll catch up with you all in a bit...................DH permitting.

dang! i've spent 40min on cleaning tidying and nothing looks changed

    i did:
    got dressed
    dw un/reloaded
    put potatoes in pot.sack
    put rest of shopping away
    put shopping bags away
    cut all stale bread
    rearranged flowers
    22 items flung

but nothing of that was on the list

so another FHC (full hour) 9.25! i make it an hour this time ... i think  - join in :D

Oh and I forgot....we finally took the Christmas tree to the recycling :o
  • Morning All!

Bet you thought I'd disappeared off the face of the earth. My excuse is I've been busy at work - back up to 5 days now and am knac5ered. Have kept up to my flying as my elbow feels a lot better now it's a bit warmer.

I'm sorry I don't know what you have all been up to, so hugs for all that need them.

My dad had a new hip 2 weeks ago and is doing ok. DS is over from Germany for 5 days before he goes to Czech Republic for a month on exercise.

Going camping as soon as I finish work today at one. All the things to go in the car are in the dining kitchen, can hardly move for the stuff so quite glad I'm at work this morning! So DH has to pack car and I'll just swan in change out of my suit and get in the car, no bad eh? But there again I did get most of it out last night.

    xx

    Friday fun! - childrens rooms
    :j:j:jAll done:j:j:j

My kids are 'old' now, age 20 & 16 & are responsible for their own 'pits'. DDs room is spotless as she had a good clean out & declutter earlier this week. DSs is still in bed but I'll be cracking the whip when he gets up later.
All their bedding was washed & dried last night.

Having a gardening day i think if it doesn't rain too much & will put some flea stuff on the cat.
And there's baking lined up as well, cakes for the weekend yum!

Hope everyone has a good day!
