If you read back through this thread there should be a link to a FSA ruling. If you took out a policy between the dates on the ruling you could possibly get all your premiums paid back.

I wasnt happy with my settlement figure, it was less than 1/2 paid in, I wrote to them stating I felt I was mislead by advertising at the time I took out the plan and they offered to repay all premiums - cashback + 1% interest.

The link was somewhere near the beginning of the thread if that helps.

I have now read through all of the posts and ghave prepared a letter to send off, is it even worth me posting this...or would I be better off just getting my surrender value....after all we are talking about £2000 here....

Why not? All they can say is yes or no. You will still get your surrender value offered if they say no, and possibly a bit more.

Give it a go and let us know what they say

I requested about cashing in mine a few months ago, got a letter back and didn't do anything with it. A few weeks ago I sent a letter and included the FSA ruling and was offered the all monies, less tax and 1% interest.

I have today received my money back after about 3 weeks waiting. :j This wil be put in another savings plan this week.

I already cancelled the direct debit after reading this forum and told them I had done that (they cancelled at their end too) so no more monies are coming out, so I will either end up with the current surrender amount or if Im really lucky what I have actually paid in

A correct course of action by AXA. That way you cannot complain later that you didnt know that the payments had stopped. AXA have this letter logged on your file.
