  • As I now live in Spain I would like to be able to start my destination from Alicante, does anyone know of a flightchecker that will let me scan for flights from Spain to UK and back again?

The flightchecker gives the return flights too so if you want to go Alicante-London, then search London-Alicante and you will get all Alicante-London flights in date/price range.
An alternative budget airline search engine is www.wegolo.com

One of the best for prices, helpfullness, politeness, and reliability and the back up service is second to none

I've researched and travelled for several years on " Own Organised " Holidays and Travell and came across this company quite by accident and they have organised my recent trips exactly to my specifications this year listening to what I want and coming up with prices I can't find a competitor for for either flight only or including accomodation

http://www.holidays-direct.co.uk/ is another site for exceptional flight only prices

    along with http://www.flightline.co.uk/

When we travell we always consider the locality of the airport to home as this is always a bonus on the homeward journey

And finaly avoid Excell at all costs as not only are they the most notorious for delays and lack of care they rank along side easy jet for being way below basic in quality of service

We've just booked flights for my mother-in-law between Blackpool and Belfast (we're in Lancs, her family is in NI). Flightchecker has no flights for those 2 airports, but Jet2 flies between them, and for most dates in Sept and Oct flights are £1 each way plus £8.99 taxes - round-trip £19.98. I checked travelsupermarket.com (linked to on the latest email) and their price for the same flights was over £50.
  • Hi, i`m new here so if this is in the wrong place i appologise, I tried Travelocity, as suggested by this weeks tips because i fly to Japan a lot, the prices that come up when you give your flight details are brilliant but it all changes when you go further into the system, ie to pay!, everytime the page said that the prices have changed, the new ones were at least 100 pounds more than the originally advertised, it wasn`t an isolated case, it was for all the flights i requested.
  • Hi Infidel,

Have you tried https://www.whichbudget.com it gives all the starting points and destinations of many many of the worlds cheap airlines. I find it useful in conjuntion with Martin's Flightchecker.

Sorry just realised Infidel's was an old posting but it might help others.

    Hi,

I'm wondering why Alicante in Spain isn't an option on the Flightchecker as some of the budget airlines it covers do fly to Alicante

Flightchecker is still showing flights from Cardiff (CWL) to Glasgow Prestwick (PIK), this no longer operates. Flights have been transferred to Glasgow (GLA)
  • Flightchecker isnt showing any of the cheap fares on the Flybe website to and from IoM eg £13.44 on 25th Oct and 1st Nov on flybe.co.uk is shown as £97.44 on FlightChecker
