Forgive me if I'm doing something wrong  but recently I have been checking flights..
    .eg Doncaster-Amsterdam £0.01p each way
I enter into the Thomsonfly website and its alot more expensive, because flight checker had trawled it 19hrs previously I thought this price ticket must have sold out already.
I did the same check this morning and again it comes up with £0.01 (trawled 30mins previously)but still £24.99 on Thmsonfly and no extra flights had been added.

    Is there a problem known?
Thanx ..so wish i could have gone...boo hoo
You have to try out different dates, each month has different prices attached to it. scan dates, and you might find the £0.01 you were looking for ;)

    Hi MSE Checkerman

Another budget airline started up this year, they do flights to and from sweden from stanstead (and other european countries from sweden). Could you see if it is possible to add them to the flightchecker?. www.flyme.com
    thanks
if i had known then what i know now
  • just posting a missing route:

    Southampton - Angers

Otherwise fantastic tool and the sooner other airlines (incl non-budget and worldwide) allow it to access their prices, the better

    Cheers
  • Econ0013,

Thanks for your suggestion - it's been noted, and will be followed-up.

    Mackerel-sky,

Thanks for this information - the Flybe route you have mentioned has now been added.

    Thanks,
    MSE FlightChecker Admin

  • Hi MSE Checkerman

I'm a relative newcomer to the whole MSE site and am very impressed so far.Keep up the good work.

However I'm puzzled why Easyjet, one of the two largest cheap carriers, is not priced by Flightchecker.
Could you, or another board poster, give me an answer and let me know if any other 'checker' does it for Easyjet or do I have to go to their site?

    Many thanks.
(I'm sure someone else will have asked this before, sorry about that).

The flightchecker is great and there are some good deals to be had but please watch out for Ryanair's hidden charges. They are now not only charging a fee of 40p each way per passenger for Debit Card payments (which basically means there is no fee-free way of paying online) they are also charging £2.50 each way for every piece of checked luggage. (You don't buy a larger baggage allowance, the charge is per piece of checked baggage you use to make up your normal allowance). You don't find out about these charges until half way through the payment process, so if you chose Ryanair because of a small price advantage you can waste a lot of time before you realise they are more expensive. You need to add £5.80 per person for each return flight to the price quoted on their website if you plan to check in one bag, and £5 per return flight for each additional bag.

A friend who travelled with them recently says hand-baggage allocations and weight limits are being rigorously imposed, and excess baggage charges applied.

Having said all that, I booked with them anyway because they offered the most suitable route and timing for the flight I wanted, just be aware.

Is it possible to include Air Berlin/Niki this airline is very good and often cheap plus with this airline when you click the relevent flight you get the total amount come up inc all taxes without having to go to another screen.

Does anyone know of a flightchecker where you can type in European starting destinations other than the UK?

For example i want to find flights from Italy to Spain and vice versa.

Would be nice if I could see where half these places are; i.e. I want to go to Morocco, which placename to choose?

    Hope you like the suggestion.

Otherwise, I love it since I've looked for from any to any searchers before, and this is the only one I know; unique
Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker
