sorry not meaning to be rude its just i really hate people who complain about 'low level' noise.. my DH is an acoustics consultant and during his masters he did a whole project on the laws of antisocial noise and trust me if you have to stick ur head out of the window or put ur ear to the wall to hear properly then it definatley wouldnt be classed as nuisance noise.... niether would ur old place at those times of day.

trust me, the old flat were breaking their rules of contract on their rental - I knew the landlord and he went and had a go at them and they continued to ignore him. So yes, they were totally wrong.

and I only stuck my head out the window to figure out where the noise was coming from - I'm a "sandwich" flat in that I'm the middle, with one above and one below. Went accusing upstairs last time and it wasn't them so wanted to make sure it wasn't them again this time, and as downstairs had their window open too it was easier to pinpoint the voices. I'm not saying they were loud, more annoying.. which breaks the rules of the building actually..

ho hum. Annoyance in flats is a massive bugbare of mine.. gotta put up with it for another 10 months now but hey... if it carries on, I'll have a polite word but for now, I'm writing it off as a one off. hmpf.

oh, and don't worry. I didn't see it as rude everyone has their own tolerance levels and I know mine is very low I hope I don't come across as rude either

well, turns out the noise was coming from their visitor, as it suddenly went quiet about 30 seconds before I saw a car drive off

that means I can sleep now night all x

Well went downstairs, and i survived, didn't get a lecture or have laptop confiscated!!
I shared all my eggs with everyone, and generally seemed more helpful, and everything was good!!:rolleyes::D

Think mum feels like i've only got one more day left of easter hol, so just letting me enjoy it!!
Bur sisters and brother still got whole week left...im soooo jealous!!:o

:eek: Because of that loooong writers strike they only did 10 episodes for this series !!!!!! and we've already had what.....7??? ( edit we've seen 6)

and then after the strike they made 3 more titles:

"the unexpected arrival"
" the bad guy"
