The Compers Inn - Part 16

Evening all.
On late again tonight, this real life stuff gets in the way sometimes:rotfl:
Been to my brother's with the kids, to his step-son to be (he's getting married in August, my brother that is, and not the step son!:rotfl:) birthday. Kids had a fab time, sunny day, bouncy castle.
Adults drinking, although I didn't as driving, but still had fun, eating loads then playing cards.
Haven't potted my tomato seeds as I was going to:rolleyes: Haven't really done much else either.
Was it Nikki asking about the wine.
As a drinker of it every now and then:rotfl: Morrison's do a good deal on half bottles of wine, you get 4 for a fiver. So you can try different ones. So you don't end up wasting a whole bottle if you don't like it. There is only a small selection but it gives you an idea of the taste you like.
As well as all the others recommend, (good taste you lot!) I really like a pinot grigio.
Am on the beer tonight cause drunk too much wine on holiday last week. Took a box of wine with me and it all went:eek:
Ahh well.
Off to do a few comps now.0 -
I'm a fan of fruit wines - Gales make them as one brand I can think of - and they come in many flavours and don't taste like wine at all

Is this true 4 (proper halfs?) for a 5er? This is a good deal.
I have just been on the Ebay forums and God! is my head spinning? Do you have to pay tax for selling a single item, even as a one-off thing?
The break is nearly over :eek::eek::eek::eek: O.M.G it just started a second ago ......0 -
Not sure if they are proper half bottles NNW, probably not. But still not a bad deal.
I'll have a look next time I'm in and see how much is in them.0 -

what's a polite way to go to my downstairs neighbours and ask them to [STRIKE]shut the hell up [/STRIKE]keep it down a bit?
I can hear them having a conversation (not the words unless I put my ear to the wall) but I can hear constant murmuring for the past hour now it's driving me mad.. I've tried stomping on my floor/their ceiling but they don't seem to be getting the hint! and I can tell they aren't "English" as it's not English coming up (1/10th of the population around here is Polish so I think it's that)Best wins since June 08: 2xNikonD60, 2xBrothers Cider, £330 SwanJackpot, £100 Garden Vs, £50 Espirit V, £750 BigSnap2, Wiifit, zoo tix, 7xCadburys, 5xGlamour, IOWTix, Dell Laptop, 3xIpodNano, £100 Highstreet Vs, Digi VideoCamera and more small bits, REAL DEAL £2400! :jRIP Dad 1943-20090 -
