Good evening dfw's - just got in from party with oldies and the kids from the local youth club. I am knackered:D but in a good way. Keeping 25 oldies and 20+ hyped up kids entertained, fed, and happy is hard work.
The kids had made easter cards and little baskets with chocolates in for the oldies and we had bought them easter eggs (1/2 price at Mr M's;) ) The noise level was atrocious, and picture a line of 80+ year olds competing in kentucky fried chicken song competition and you get the gist of how mad it has been this evening here:rotfl:
Hope you all have a great weekend, will post a catch up thread as soon as the site is back online.
mbaz - nice to see you

Been trying to get my act together!
I have also:- Convinced DD to wear a fancy dress outfit that she already owns, rather than buy new for tomorrows party
- Card from cheapy shop - 59p
- Paper from stash
- My friend raided her pressie box and let me have a box of Lego for £2.50, she cant use it, so works out well for us both.
- Saved petrol as we didnt need to visit town
- Had to order 3 presents from Amazon, joined up to free trial of Prime to get quick delivery, and also got one of the items from the market place, hopefully helping out someone else
- Picked up a mystery shop for 2 weeks time
- Stick to diet!
- Get an early night!
Cleosmum - we tried the prime trial thing over xmas and decided to share membership with parents, just over £20 each for the year and anything we want free delivery. It has saved a fortune so far as OH and my dad get quite a lot of stuff from there - we just have it delivered on OH's account - have easily covered the cost already this year and only 3 months gone.0 -
