:j I've been a good little DFW today.
Finally got round to cancelling my RAC membership. I've been with them since 2000 and through monthly payments have been paying £111 a year  Cancelled it today (and the Direct Debit just to make sure) and have signed up with the AA for £76 which I have paid in a lump sum. One less Direct Debit to worry about and £40 cashback from Quidco too
Hugs to all those who are poorly, or who have costly poorly animals. xx
P.S. No forums this weekend  See you on the flipside! xx
Finally a Homeowner 04.10.13 :j

Afternoon all!!
Glad I made you smile with the cat tale....:rotfl:
Spent a good hour this afternoon hoovering & cleaning under the girls beds - just to make sure the visitor hadnt left anything behind!!
It was a good job done anyway - under beds doesnt get hoovered very often - blimey HOW much dust!!
Just got a tuna & pasta bake in the oven, looks like I've made way too much - can you freeze it does anyone know? Or will I be eating it for the next 3 days?
Was a good girl in Tescos - stuck to list, & just picked up extra a couple of very reduced items - Glue stick 19p, kids pencil set 12p (will do for shoeboxes at Xmas) & a couple of kids things for 50p which will go in present box. And found a MOC in the car park! :T
Just while I've been sat typing this, realised the underwire from one side of my bra has come out and made its way up through the neck of my tshirt!! Grrrr, hate that, I can never manage to mend them, this is one of my favourite ones as well! Bah humbug!0 -
Hey everyone -
1) LSD for me - just a paper and T's Milky Way.
2) T had a friend to play all afternoon, so free fun in the garden.
3) Made an order for work and got lovely ClubCard points.
4) Rather than go to Pizza Hut last night for our usual end of term celebration , I picked up all the bits in Asda for less than a tenner, pizzas, garlic bread, olives, pasta salad, salad, ice cream .... And as we left we were given some free Smarties, which turned our ice-cream into Fun Factory Ice Cream. Anyway, not only did we pig ourselves last night, but it has sorted us for lunch and tea today too!:j
5) I deferred my student loan. Only 6 days to go til cut-off, I hope I make it on time. So peed off with myself for forgetting.
6) Got lovely Book People and Boden orders through post and am thrilled with them. ( Candy - I PMed you the code you asked for).
7) Got a £5 train voucher which we will use for a cheap daytrip next week.
8) Looked for other cheap things to do in the Easter hols.It is so hard to keep both a 3 year old and a 12 year old of different sexes entertained.
9) Scratch x 10p - no log-in bonus again.
Have a good MSE free weekend everyone!
