How to Find a Cheap Flight Article Discussion Area

Finding last minute flight deals... Can anyone recommend somewhere for me to look?

My plan is the following:

Fly to New York some time around the 13th August. I don't care what time of day or the week the flight is. Then spend five days in New York and travel overland to Chicago (probably by train). Spend 3 days in Chicago.

I then want to find a last minute flight deal from Chicago to San Francisco (are internal American flights cheapish?).

I'll then spend 5 days in San Francisco, buy a car and head off to the Burning Man festival out in Nevada...

So I need two last minute flights, one from Lon - NYC and one from CHI - SFO.

The final flight (from SFO back to LON won't be until December so I'm not worried about that at the moment).

Any suggestions?

I booked a flight with jet2.com from Manchester to Paris with credit card. It told me that the charge would be 1.75 but when I received my confirmation the charge was £7. I tried to contact them but you get an automated message charged at 50p per min. After 1 min I was still getting their message, has any one else had the same problem or can you explain it?

You are not saying which airport your partner's family is flying from, nor which is your local airport, so either have a look at http://www.whichbudget.com/#from5 for a list of airports with cheap flights from France, or at http://www.whichbudget.com/budget-airlines-en.html#to16 for cheap flights to the UK.

has any one had any dealings with cheapflights.com it jst i can get a return flight from heathrow to glasgow for £80 with BA which is a £100 odd cheaper than going through BA its self is this posible or is the website not ligit thanks in advance

flying from either Newcastle or teeside to port aventura, Salou

for 4 days

starting at the end of may or early June, for just 4 days

either a return flight with hotel, or just the return flight with no hotel booking

this is a US website and if you look online you will see countless bad reviews for them.
