    Hi
From the issue of the MAC Code, you have 30 days to find another isp. As soon as I found one and signed up, they took approx 7days to switch me over, in the meantime I was still connected by my old isp, you then have to make sure that you cancel with Wanadoo, because according to some isp's getting a MAC Code doesn't mean you have cancelled your broadband.
    1. Get MAC Code
    2. Join new isp
    3. When new isp have taken over your broadband.
    4. Phone your old isp (Wanadoo) and cancel.
    5. You could also cancel any direct debits/credit card.
And hopefully Wanadoo will not keep charging you. I say hopefully because you never know :)

    Hope this helps

Thank you, i will be getting mac number tomorrow, so you will sign up with bt online (through quidco of course) and then will cancel wanadoo when bt sorted, although me worried going over to anyone else as its another contract and wanadoo reckon its the line not them  aaaaarrrrggggghhhh

    Hi
I'm sure when you contact BT they will check the line for you straight away, so they will know if there's any problems or not, and quite honestly if they can't fix it then I don't know who can.

I'm sure you'll be fine and I hope everything works out alright for you.
