and so back up we go… what with todays factory gate price rise - and last months RPI increase from -1.4 to -1.3% - I think we can say that the worm has turned.

not neccesarily
i just think it is bumbling along at the bottom for a while
no real indication anywhere that rates are set to turn back up for a long time yet

I see that swap rates are now lower than they where 6 months ago and a year ago by quite a bit. Anybody know if the banks will start to reduce there 5 yr fixed rates because of this?

No need for an answer really as this is the banks we are talking about! Would be shocked if they did reduce the rates! :eek:
