When I was speaking with Abbey yesterday they said their Libor rate was rising and that they were due for some more rate changes next week.
Now starting to wonder if I should have held back on the deal I took out yesterday in the above thread for a few more months??0 -
5 year rates 9th June
A huge jump 2 days ago, followed by a slight decline yesterday. Experts predit that 5 year fix mortgages will be going up in price soon. But perhaps this is all due to market panic about inflation; if so, things should stabilise again.
5 year swap: 3.66 (up 0.17 from 4th June)
5 year gilt: 2.80 (up 0.17 from 4th June)0 -
