Hello fellow webbers, how's everything going?Haven't been 2 gd on the spending front lately.Went out with my mate on sat nt and ended up spending about £20.On Sunday went 2 Tescos and bought bread, ham, crisps, apples and oranges for a family day out 2day and it came 2 £10.Finding it hard 2 stay disciplined! It was a public holiday 2day and 2morrow in N.I so i resisted the temptation 2 go out 2nt and im working 2morrow and the nxt day so im getting time 1/2 for coming in 2morrow so happy days!0

Well hows everyone doing? Was out last nt for a 50th b'day meal.We had a relly good time. The bill came 2 about £14 for my share of the meal and £7 for the drinks. Before i started this D.F.W diary i wouldnt have thought twice about spending 50 on a nt out.Had a problem with the payment for the phonebks.1 cheque arrived for £92 there on thurs.I am owed a cheque for another £78 for the other route i did so im going 2 wait another day and if it hasnt arrived by 2morrow morning im going to contact the co-ordinator and see if she can sort it out for me.If the cheque for £78 has been lost in the post i dont see why the company cant cancel that cheque and sent me out a new 1.0

My other cheque for the phonebks arrived this morning,so i put the 2 cheques into the bank there.Plan 2 pay the remaining bal of my northern bank off with it so ill have 1 card less.My Ulster bank c/c 0%is in its last mnth so im thinking of puttting the remaining bal on it onto the Tesco c/c which has 1yr 0%int left on it.Should be getting a bill this wk sometime so ill give them a ring when it comes,it shouldnt be a problem as i got offfered 2100 cred limit on it and the ulster bank bill added onto it will take it up 2 under 1500.:D0

Just found a prob with that idea of mine,Tesco and Ulster Bank are owned by R.B.S so i cant do a bal transfer.I'm reluctant to use mbna again as i got a bal transfer for £450 2 mnts ago.Didnt really want to apply for a new card, not sure what to do.Mightnt pay off northern bank card,as i only have £135.50 on it and im only paying int of about £2 per mnth on it.I might put the money instead 2 pay my wifes Ulster bank card and get the int down a bit more on it cos its what im paying the most int on at the minute.I have 2 get my own Ulster bank card Bal transfered as ill be paying int of at least £12 from next month, was thinking of an egg card,Has anyone any exp of Egg or other cards?0

Hi BATM.
Nasty having that card conflict, isn't it. I know some people like to use the egg card as a mule that allows them to transfer funds from cards that conflict in this way, but i have no experience of using them - i was turned down ages ago.
This site will allow you to see more easily what cards you can't transfer between (even though it's not much use to you right now)

Not too sure what to advise, but a mule card such as egg would probably be beneficial to have as you have quite a few cards with the same card issuer. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Hi there George and Seawxyn, thanx for your replies, they have been very helpful.I decided not 2 go for the egg card and am bal transferring onto an Abbey card at 0%over 15 mnths instead.Couldnt apply on line for it but theres a branch in town so i went into town this morning and there doesnt seem 2 be a problem! So i have just 2 wait for the card 2 arrive in the post and then i have 2 ring them up with how much im looking 2 bal transfer over.So Happy Days!:j0

How's that BT going BATM?
Did you get a decent limit, or was it just someone trying to meet their sales targets stringing you along? After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
