Transferred my Virgin cc over to a Tesco cc 0% for 14 months. Was offered a credit limit 0f 2125 but only wanted to transfer £800.Have 2 cc on bal transfer the other 2 are both balances of under £1000.Should i try to pay these 2 cards off first.Do you think its a good idea to concentrate paying cc without the 0%int on them first. Some advice from fellow webbers would be appreciated. Thanx a lot Rob.0

Can you list your cards and APR's?
If you are paying interest on another card, would it be possible to BT another £1k to the Tesco card? How much would be left over and at what rate? Try to transfer the highest rate if possible.
The snowball calculator should tell you how much you will be saving by doing this. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
Hello George,i can only switch the 1 card and its min balance is 3%.its only for about £650 so ive decided to just pay the balance off over the next few mths.I'd have a 2.9% balance transfer fee so its not really worth it.The wifes card has roughly £900 on it but she failed to get a balance transfer on it before cos she only works 10 hrs per wk so because its in her name i wont get it.Thanks for the advice mate.Hope youre doing o.k0

Hi there people, hope everythings going alright this fine Sunday nt!Have decided to set myself a new challenge and try to save £10 a day from May 1st.That makes 244 days left in 2009 so that will be my new target. It should leave me with about 1200 left by the end of the year.I will keep you posted and let you know how im getting on.I listed a few things on e-bay there and recieved £47.77 so thats a gd start.I would love it if fellow websters would be up for trying this challenge themselves and we could help support and motivate each other.0
