    i bought a box of 3, 2 codes i couldn't read, they have not bothered to get back to me, so if magnum are reading this can you please sort it out for me please. i'm not buying anymore until its sorted.

  • Having seen the notices on the site and the Magnum representative's post, I was curious as to why they hadn't suspended the competition until it was fixed.

    So I entered a code to see whether I would get the standard email and I got this instead:

    We're sorry, we are experiencing some technical problems.

    Please don’t worry we will be in touch with all winners by 15th May 2009.

    Thank you for buying Magnum and entering the promotion. Please be assured we are working hard to fix this problem as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Now, maybe it is just me, but that strikes me as a carefully crafted, legally non-committal reply.

    It doesn't tell me whether the code I have just entered has been accepted and logged. So I can't complain if it hasn't, because the wording of the reply doesn't categorically state one way or another whether I am entered into this hour's draw.

    So, what do you all think?

    Maybe the helpful Magnum rep could clarify it for us in writing? :D

    Good luck to everyone that did enter, although I have to agree with what some people are saying on here...companies pay huge amounts of money to have promotions and things run smoothly and they should know if they put millions of codes out there, chances are they'll be entered :)

    So hopefully someone got the boot or didnt get paid the huge salary!! On the upside, so outside while you have the sunshine and enter your codes in May when all the hoopla has died down ;)

    Hope my four sticks got through somewhere!

    If you input a code now it say: Sorry they are experiencing some technical problems but will be in touch with all the winners by the 15th MAY.
