they should compensate the people who have entered the codes over the last few weeks, possibly send out new codes for them when they do sort it out.

I see it now as encouraging gambling, before I could judge how many to buy and enter by how much I was winning, but now it would be guessing and I don't gamble :mad:



I never received a reply to my email of a few days ago either

What angers me is they could have took the site down whilst sorting this but no they have left it up to dupe people into entering codes.

I'm wondering whether this story is bigger than the ISP - maybe Watchdog or something. I have bought Magnums specifically to enter the comp - Ive spoken to customer services and now I feel lied to and duped by them.

well they say that all entries are still being counted, but then again they have said alot of things to me in the last week and none have been true

1. you can't win everytime! when complaining of sudden loss of wins for all
2. nothing wrong, implying I know nothing, rude customer services
3. will look into into it nothing wrong, supervisor says so, they don't understand the question.
4. will be fixed by next week (askedlast week)
4. there is a tech glitch, all your entries count, server overload, there were 42,000 or 46000 or 47000 entries on Friday
5. there is a legal issue
6. winners will be notified by 15th May
7. It's an email problem

It's nothing personal against you hun (just quoting your post because it's the easiest one to get to) but isn't that the reason for this thread HERE?

Nobody should be buying Magnums purely on the basis of thinking it will be a guaranteed win.

If you are buying them and enjoying the ice cream and the competition is a bonus, then that falls within the rules of MSE. But to buy them just for the codes can be taken to be a "paid entry" competition and thus not allowed on this forum.

I have bought more than I normally would because they were on offer, yes, but I haven't stockpiled purely to get the codes. And if you do, you have to accept that there is a risk that you will lose all of your outlay.

there should be some kind of new rule about having to eat stuff to get wins as well! I must have put on 7lb thanks to this comp!
