I think that I have made it clear on plenty of occasions on this forum - that I work for Virgin (its not something I have ever hidden & have made a point on mentioning a number of times)- esp when i'm helping virgin customers with their problems. tbh it would start to look a bit silly if I mentioned it in every post.

Just stick something in your signature or avatar that mentions it. Job done.

why? the guys who work for orange, 02 & vodaphone don't & they don't get hassled.

I don't get paid by virgin to come on here, i come on here in my spare time, when I post on here I am putting across my own personal views - not those of virgin. Looking at the rules I can see no where that says I have to state personal information such as where i work & who I work for.

I post on here mainly to help ppl - is this a problem for you?

Just that someone said it was in the rules (haven't checked) and you're reply was that it would look silly if you had to mention it in every post. I was just offering an easy way to do it without it looking "silly."

one of the rules does mention that ppl should stay on the orginal topic.

    As such.

New PAYG customers will be on this tarrif automatically - it is the new default tariff.

Sim cards can be ordered for free by calling the service centre - 0845 6000 789 (or 789 from a virgin handset). If ordered this way there is no delivery charge.

Or you can order online - but there is currently a 97p delivery charge.

    yeah,

    - calls to mobiles on other networks are going to be 20p a min cheaper than the old standard PAYG tariff

Or use Ikea, and pay 9 pence a minute to any network. 6 pence per text.;)

I remember Martin MSE reminding posters recently in another thread that they should declare an interest if they work in the area under discusion. Heres the forum rule.

FORUM USERS’ OPINIONS DO NOT CONSTITUTE ADVICE

Forum users are asked to make it clear if discussing a topic they have professional knowledge of that they work in that field (but do not tout for business).

Or Asda, and pay 8 pence a minute to any network. 4 pence per text.

    to use 100mins on Virgin & send 3000 texts = £20

to do the same on Asda costs £128 & that is not looking at the 1gb of data included in the Virgin £20.

On IKEA it would be £189

As mentioned this Virgin tariff is aimed at high volume texters, not at low end users
