Hey, I wasn't trolling, I would do the same, if my local Tesco had them. Sorry to cause upset. Comment revoked.0

Apologies from both sides then, that's the problem with forums - sometimes the context of a post is misunderstood. I'll edit my posts, all water under the bridge

Thanks for the tip off. I bought a pair tonight. The first thing I noticed were that the batteries were "vivanco" a name I'm used to seeing on various leads etc at tesco and other places.
Anyone else think these "teccus" headphones look remarkably similar (read identical) to the vivanco fmh6050's (at £35)?

We have got some of these they are quite good. Also have a set of JVC cordless. Both headphones can be tuned in to either transmitter.
You can get some hiss with them just need to fiddle with the fine tune.

Your welcome.
As you can see from when I joined to my post count I'm more of a lurker on here.
It's nice to put something back into the forum:D
PS
They are more than likely re-branded Vivanco units, the bottom of the box has the Vivanco web address etc on it.0 -
Anywhere in london stores?0

Are they closed back... i.e., silent to others!0

Are these FM / AM / Digital? How does the base transmit? I wanted to know how these headphones worked with lots of radio interference, I wanted a pair to use with the computers but I have a lot of kit wifi, 6 PC, 3 printers 4 USB hubs, scanner, amp, cd player etc all in the loft so I wanted to know how these might work in a set up like that?
Also what sort of range are people getting from base to headset, with and without walls in the way.
Thanks.

It has a switch to select between 3 channels - These will be analogue not digital (I pressume).
Unfortunately it would be a case of suck it and see with the interference side of things, wireless networking and video senders are at 2.4 Ghz. Even if you had trouble as they are from tesco there would be no quibble on a refund
Edit : I'm using mine with my wireless network and have no problems0
