Morning guys,
Boy you've been busy! Good luck with your responses to letters sent, hopefully they'll all come on board eventually - they'll have too
Just a bit of info incase helps anyone. Obviously slightly different for me as intitally through payplan but now going it alone but just spoke to very nice gentleman in collections dept for Halifax CC and I explained taking over payments myself and he was more than happy and set up agreement again until October, no problems.
Also thing about HBOS (I have loans, cc and sainsbury cc under them) they tend to review every three months - just there thing. You normally get a call and a message asking to give thema call they then just check nothing has changed and set up the agreement for a further 3 mths. Bit annoying but guess it's there office practice.

Your plans sound good for today. If you get a minute (in amongst children!) try to get to work on the budget, and good luck with the diary. Every penny counts!:D
There is nothing to stop you claiming bank charges or PPI whilst on a DMP. Being on DMP doesn't necessarily mean you will qualify for hardship, but read the thread all about reclaiming under hardship for some great advice. I sent my letter off in response to the bank charges offer yesterday so will keep you updated of their response.
What is happening with your PPI claim, hope you are charging ahead with it.
Hi
I got 1 claim back ages ago from one of our cc but sort of put it all on hold for the time being. Now I have sorted our DMP a bit I will charge forward with the rest.
You mentioned many creditors won't reply? I have asked them all to send me details to set up a standing order - how will I pay them if they don't reply.
God the stress of this will kill me:o.
Thanks again for your helpful advice and I will take a look at the other thread once I get back in from feeding the ducks:p.0 -
Hi Karen, sounds like you are doing well. So far so good?
Hey bluejeans, hope you enjoyed feeding the ducks, Nice cheap trip out!
I am still waiting on one of our creditors to reply with standing order details after 4 separate written requests. Wrote a complaint today.:D
Don't you have the details for payment from statements? Usually on the back it gives details.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi
That was a blonde moment then:rotfl:. I never thought about the statements. I normally just posted a cheque and paid little attention to other methods of payment other than the couple I pay online - doh!
I am waiting for our new bank account to be opened so should I just wait til then or should I send a payment now - I guess a late payment won't affect my credit rating much:D
Thanks a million once again for your help.
I will get a read at your other thread tomorrow as I have a date with the girls tonight. Normally they head out but have decided a night in and a BBQ (so no doubt it will rain) so I can go now - yay.
Speak soon.0 -
At least if you have the details for some it means that you can start your payments before they get a chance to refuse them!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
At least you managed a night in rather than a night out - means you can be frugal AND sociable! Enjoy.:beer:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Morning gargraves
Well started on the standing orders and paid a few this morning. Cancelled 2 DD's so they can't take the money this month so they will need to send me details.
A bit of a foggy head so need to relax with a large coffee for an hour before I try to tackle some more - on the plus side it didn't cost me very much to have this foggy head:rotfl: .
One of the credit card companies is trying to call re late payment but have just paid them via standing order and they should have received the letter so hopefully all communication will be via mail now.0 -
Morning blue jeans, a cheap foggy head is the best kind!
Well done on making some headway this morning and its only 10am!
If the credit card company continue to call, send out the harrassment by telephone letter if you have already stated in previous correspondence that you no longer want to communicate by telephone. If you don't know the letter I'm on about let me know and I'll post a link
Planning an MSE day myself today. Was originally wanting a NSD - no spend day - however I have some Amazon and ebay items I've sold which I need to post.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

My only update is that I have updated my diary with the dates all of my 12+2's are up for my CCA requests. Nothing received as yet. Going to look at photobucket so that if anything is received, I can post it for advice.
We received a "sorry to hear you are broke - you need to go through payplan or cccs to negotiate reduced payments with us" letter from HBoS re: OH Visa. Just formulated my "don't talk alot of tosh, there is nowt more in the jar" response. I have also CCA'd this mob and heard nothing.;)
Received a letter "we haven't received your minimum payment" from one of the mail order debts I have. Too recent an agreement to CCA. I have written to them pointing out that I checked with my crystal ball over a month ago and wrote to them telling them it was never gonna happen (making my min payment that is!). Send a letter off to this effect, and a copy of the letter they have chosen to ignoreLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
