This one involves a small outlay to get started, but charge your mobile phone in the car with a car charger. I always do this, i'm paying to drive to work anyway so might as well get some saving out of it!

Oh - I have laughed so much at this thread..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I remember on tv once there were 2 girls complaining about how much of a miser their dad was - he even numbered the squares on the toilet roll so he could give them a row if they were using too much:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes, that's my understanding of it. You'll just have to scare the birds into the path of the car in front, which is a bit trickier than just running over them yourself!!! The one and only time I hit a pheasant it broke my indicator lens! Not exactly money saving!!!!
I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!
  • this thread is brilliant, a relation of mine (female) is known to dry out toilet paper if its only wet. you see it laid on the windowsill in the bathroom. she reckons you can get four or five uses out of it.

how about popping into Boots on your way to work and doing you make up with the testers?! and dont spend money on perfume, go to your local perfume counter on the way to work and you can have a different one every day!
we do the cinema one - no way will I pay their prices! (we have been known to pop our own popcorn at home and take it in!)

A friend of mine used to work in Body Shop in Melbourne. Their coca butter is widely regarded as being able to prevent stretch marks. She would tell me of a pregnant lady who would come in every day, open the tester pot, and smear cocoa butter all over her bump, then leave! Every day! Wonder if it worked for her?!
