""I personally blame the vendor" - then you are severely misled as to how the world of conveyancing works in the UK -

your friend is right - it is her fault/responsibility/loss

you have advised her wrongly if you are trying to get her "compo" from a vendor who did not take the time to measure a prospective purchasers car, then measure the drive, then measure the garage for her

    grow up

You grow up and stop being a bully trawling the forum looking for victims.

I have no advice to offer her as I don't know, that is why I asked on here

I thought you were allowed to ask things you dont know. I had no idea you

would be insulted for not knowing, I'm learning tho!

If so, then I apologise, and I'll keep out of this.

There is a vast difference between what I think, and what I know.

My comments were not based on the law, they were just what I think. What I think.

Ive read your other posts and you seem reasonable so it's just me you have a problem with.

Guess I have to live with that

ekky - sorry if my comments have been rather blunt, i can see on re-reading them they could be taken as offensive, that was not my intention.
