Martin! I earn less than £6k and wasnt at all offended.
If anything, I'm proud that I don't pay any tax.
My other income comes from other tax exempt goodies like two lodgers on the rent a room scheme etc! And I've £0 debts, only a small mortgage and tesco clubcard evn pay for my holidays so why do I need a larger income?

[I just assumed it was going to go on about some savings offset against tax, or such, where you could save a few hundred a year against your income tax]
Call me pessimistic, but everyone's entering their salary into a webform......
User IP + basic geo location + salary + millions of potential users = very valuable data about current average earnings within a geographic area.
