We moved up to Elgin last year from Valley( North wales) Elgin is a huge improvement! The kids have settled in really well and the local surrounding areas are all lovely, and the locals are all very friendly and welcoming.
Let me know where your allocation is and I will go and take some photo's for you and let you know where it is as there is rather a lot of quarters in Elgin on both sides of the town, I can also find out which schools are your catchment area if you would like me to.

I am kind of hi-jacking, as I have been out with Jolene for coffee, and in fact had a fabby sunday dinner from her and her hubby too, since she moved up!:j They are both lovely!

I was based at Kinloss AEF in the mid 80's & it's a loverly area,If you're into Skiing,then Avimore's only 45 minutes away.I preferred Forres to Elgin.
Your're right on the main train & bus routes between Inverness & Aberdeen,if you go up to Findhorn,the's a lurverly pub,The Crown & Anchor.
