A veil will normally come attached to a clear comb so if you chose to have a tiara or hair ornament which also has a comb, the veil normally sits further back from the hair ornament as 2 combs will be fighting for same head space. IYKWIM Other than this a veil can be attached to the hair ornament by removing it from its own comb and simply oversewn behind the ornament. (am I making sense? lol) But if you chose to remove it for the reception, the hair ornament comes off too. The 1st option is always best in my opinion.
Nowadays, I think many ladies go for a veil as a decoration or to finish off their look rather than having the traditional over the face so don't feel you have to do something you really don't want to.

http://www.veilsbyroxanne.com/images/attachments/3.jpg image of typical comb but can't see the sence in having it detatchable unless you are having a VERY fancy hair do which will be ruined by removing the comb.

http://www.veilubridal.com/1-t-big/chapel-length-wedding-veils.jpg Chapel length veil which is nice and plain and will complement your gown perfectly. (notice bride has no headpiece but if you chosse this option, something nice done with the hair will carry the veils simplicity)

https://ssl.sonic.net/ritz/catalog/images/medium/20inch.jpg eventhough short, it finishes just above any detail at the back of the gown. The way the bride is wearing her hair is stylish yet simple.

http://pics.classifieds.weddingbee.com/1619.veil.jpg again, long plain veil with a little head "jewellery" Choice is yours. xx

Hi guys, have just spoken to my preferred quote for the disco and he is giving me this deal

    7pm until 8pm one hours children's entertaiment
then buffet and speeches and things
    9pm one hours karaoke
10pm until 12.30pm disco with a playlist decided by me and OH and songs requested by my guests.

All for £150, I am really pleased with this, so when OH replies to my email going to ring him back and book him.

I don't have to pay a deposit and just pay him on the day of the wedding, although he will send out a written confirmation.

This week is turning out really well. Basically with the saving on my dress I have got the money for the entertainment woohoo!! Tiger xx:T

I love all those veils but think the tiara will go better with them than a fasinator, I personally like the short veil.

    The dress is gorgeous x

Hi everyone, just thought I would share my bargain wedding ring with you

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=160324259388

It is only £57 with free p and p and engraving. The ring is 1.9mm so quite thin, but I have no space on my finger when my engagement ring is on it anyway so it will be perfect! I can't wait for it to arrive now!

Things are quite slow on the planning front now. The next things to buy are the bridesmaids dresses and OH's wedding ring, then it is mostly the big things such as the remainder on the venue, the registrar and the cake, Tiger x

I would also consider a veil of shimmer tulle, as it looks absolutely fabulous in the pictures! My h2b's sister had a veil on a plastic clear comb and a tiara, and just removed the veil for the dancing part, but still wore the tiara, and it looked great.

I also think chapel lenth would go amazingly with your dress!

Thanks for sharing so many lovely ideas, I adore your candle/petal/crystal idea

Those pics are beautiful Rainforest, I particularly like the black and white one!

Well guys, it is here!!! My dress arrived this morning and have tried it on and it fits perfectly. I am so pleased with it. The beading is beautiful and the stitching is really good aswell. The boning in the corset holds up just fine, although I think I will need a petticoat as my underwear might show through the skirt. It is much better than the picture and my Mum had a tear in her eye when we tried it on. I have pics which I will upload after tea.
If you are thinking about ordering from China, go for it. My dress was only £70 including the postage and took a week to arrive as it was a stock dress, Yay!!! Tiger x
