Are your brussels inside or outside? Advice different for each situation!0

All the brussels are potted, i am worried because when i planted them and put them on the radiator, they started germinating and showing above the soil within 2 days - have i done something wrong?
Then my father-in-law said it can't be brussels, they must be grass that seeded in the compost!
I have separated some and kept some on a sunny windowsill indoors and the others in a cheap plastic "greenhouse" on the patio. I have tried different growing on techniques to try to make SOMETHING work... I am notorious for killing all plants i touch....... oh, and can you OVER water brussels? I always worry the compost has dried out......2009 - Attempting to grow my own Kitchen garden.....

I planted sprouts in a pop up bag 3 weeks ago - outside - and I noticed Ive got one green shoot today :T
