Speaking of Toxic husbands, does anyone have a toxic work colleague?
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    Hi all,
sorry I haven't posted for a while, I try no to post on this thread when I'm down as I'm often afraid of what I may say, so I try and keep away until it's passed.
I hope the silence means everyone is doing well though.

Hello everyone I hope you are all feeling well. It's a lovely day today. Yesterday I went bra shopping up in town. Hate shopping so much!! But any way on the way up I popped into a charity shop which I haven't been into for years. I found a lovely top for £5 but it had a slight hole along a seam so I mentioned this and got it for £2.50. I also found a lovely pot with butterflys and brambles on it for £2. We saw it later in M and S for growing lilies for £15!! My daughter also bought a leather topshop bag for £6. We were really pleased. Will definately look in there more often. I don't usually go to charity shops anymore as the ones round my way are rubbish. Also managed to find a lovely Emma Bridgewater tray for £6 in John Lewis and got me bras!
Going to go out on my bike later as it's less painful than walking but gets me exercising.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

Yep had a few of them

Usually women in their 50s who want to squash your spirit, only talk to their age group like a load of chickens, and flirt with or a ss lick the men.

The others are men who want to hinder women's progress with their old fashioned views - they can be any age.

I know what you mean but this is the right place to talk about your down feelings. You can always edit/delete bits later if you feel you have said too much.

Are all men like this? Lazy, useless, stressful, nasty and surly? Why would someone marry someone and only be a half husband, then claim they love you? Do they all turn into useless slobs when they marry?

a lot of men change when they get into relationships, i dont know why.
sounds like its about time you put your needs first.
rubytuesday, glad you had a good day shopping. one of my sons is so clothes ma, designer names etc, and most of them have come from the charity shops, and have costed less than cheap primark stuff, recent examples include extra long gap jeans, which still had tag on for 3.99 diesel t-shirts and belts.
i also browse for knitting books
beachbeth how you doing on the new tablets?
alison, made the decision to start posting on here again, now my ex seems to have disappeared from this thread, but still feel free to pm me
    hugs all

    :hello: Everyone,

Hope all is well,Last Wednesday was in a good mood, did the ironing and then suddenly my mood went from being really high(Happy) to feeling low (Sad) I have no reason to be sad only that it was a very sunny day and should be happy and since then I have come in and out of depression rather quickly. It is my bipolar playing up and my parents are proud of me for handling it.When its bad I sleep and I do sleep for 4 hours solid like yesterday.I just want to be well and I keep fighting to get well and for that cloud of depression just to lift then I can be better.

Have a lovely day! *hugs* to everyone especially CCStar :)

    love and light,

    Katie xxx
