Got through last night ok and don't think parents suspect.
He was asleep when I got in from class last night so didn't get to talk (he had to be up for work at 3.30am).
Bizarrely I feel quite positive this morning, if utterly exhausted.
Miro, I am glad that your cat has you there to look after her when she is feeling so bad.0 -
Good morning lovelies :hello:
Roxalana - glad you are feeling better today. Miro how is your brave little cat today? And how are you?
I am tired. Just really tired. Gonna neck some coffee because I have a busy day ahead work and I need to concentrate somehow. I know coffee isn't the answer, but well, y'know.
Big hugs and much love to all,

Been relaxing today and not doing alot.just been listening to Heart Radio for the itunes competition.wont know results until tomorrow Morning.

Night! Night!

Katie xxx0 -
Hope you win something, Katie.
I think Heart is our new local radio now as well. I think they took over a few local stations and have the odd time when DJ's local to that area are on, whereas most of it is the same DJ all across the Heart network. I'm not 100% as I don't listen to Radio - I turn on Music Channels for my music, as I get to tape all the Britney vids
The cat is being brave. She's in no pain, but she's frustrated and tired. She's been sitting up for the last hour or so and has generally been doing much better in the last 24 hours, although I know it won't last. Sadly she thinks i'm trying to con her, so she will barely eatShe can't resist Tuna yet though, so that's the one thing she will eat.

Hormonal swings don't help. The pressure to be in control and look good on top can really tip the balance.
I mentioned in another thread that my peers as a child/adolescent/20s were not nice. Had I found some nice people who I could have had a happier childhood with, then I would probably been less likely to have depression.
When I moved to Scotland in my 30s, I found so many people were more understanding and far less competitive. I found people were polite and compassionate, which was unheard of in the south in the 80s and 90s. I find it better these days in the south but do see more idiots than I saw in Scotland but there are some stereotypical macho types in Scotland but far less than I thought there would be.
Competitive attitudes stop people being nice to each other and trying to look better than everyone else is so alienating. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be the best you can be but not be motivated by trying to upset others with it.An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

And today i landed my dream job, great pay, travel world, and take photos, for a major leading comapany. It is alot to take in. But if i can do it, so can anyone else.
Wow Rosie...but this is extraordinary :T
Does no-one read the last post on a page?
2006-7 you were locked away from the world in a secure psychiatric unit, taking 10 pills a day.
Since March 2008, you chose to stop all medication.
Now, in the midst of the worst recession since the 1930's, you land a plum dream job, permament and secure.
Now you are off travelling to every exotic corner of our beautiful world doing photography - which you love doing the most.
What an opportunity for a 24 year old!
And it was the support via this thread that made the difference and helped you turn your life around.
This thread has unsung heroes - people who stayed up with you all night when you were so ill in distress - geminilady, tiff, sazbo, elona, to name but a few.
You didn't need AD's or "professional therapy".
You simply asked for help here.
You were offered help.
You accepted help <
the important bit
All you needed was to:-
1. Remove yourself from your toxic home situation;
2. Enjoy plenty of support and encouragement;
3. Receive lots and lots of hugs.
Whoever said hugs were not the most powerful, effective and life-changing therapy?
On behalf of us all I'd like to say: Well done! :T We are so proud of you!
P.S. Don't forget to send us postcards...CB2X0 -
