What is itunes Tuesday?

Hang in there Roxalana. I would just die if my parents came to stay!!!:eek: Luckily they only live round the corner from me so this won't happen!!! I couldn't cope with that at all!

(I would cut that credit card up or at least hide it I think!)

It is worse than I thought. It's not just the credit card and there is more on the credit card than showing on the last statement.

It turns out he has taken out a large overdraft for the purposes of faking having saved money towards a house deposit.

I swore I would leave if he ever lied like that again, but I don't think I can do it.

He is blaming not telling me on me having depression. I'm really angry at him for that. And for making me think it was depression related paranoia when I suspected him earlier.

I want to slap him next time I see him but the next time I see him will be at a meal out with my parents and he doesn't want them to know anything is wrong.

Thanks for your support beach beth. I am feeling very alone. I thought I could trust him again.

I feel for you. I hope you can manage to put things on a back burner until your parents have gone - not easy though. I think its easy for him to blame your depression but this is just an excuse. No one can tell you whether to leave him or not but you really need to talk to him as soon as you can. All the best - xxx (you know at least you can come on here to let off steam.)

But there are two of you in this relationship. And you have a say. If you want to tell your parents what is wrong - even if it's just along the lines of "Money's a bit tight at the mo" - then is it just me who feels you have a perfect right to do so?

But then I'm all for honesty in relationships, which it seems he's not. Something IS wrong. Why pretend it's not?

My parents also adore my OH and know he is on a good salary - they are smart cookies and would question why cash was short (or assume I am pregnant!).

They are already worried about my mental health and they themselves aren't in the best physical or mental health at the moment.

I hate pretending but involving my parents is likely to make things much much worse.

I also think that to tell them would be purely to make him feel worse about what he has done and I want to remain firmly on the moral high ground for when we can discuss it properly.

roxalana - It's not about the money, but the fact he's lied and deceived you? Sure, it's a big issue. It's not like he's 'borrowed' £50, but it sounds as if we are talking fairly big sums AND it's not the first time. Can you live with the deceit again?

It's hard to walk away from someone that we care about, and I wouldn't even suggest it to someone I don't know, especially as I should have walked away twice before and didn't, only to get hurt, but you really have to talk about it with your OH and see what happens. No-one would blame you for walking, but it's never as clinical as that, because feelings are invested.

If your parents aren't in the best of health, I can understand you don't want to involve them. Do you have anyone else to let it all off onto? Someone who wouldn't then go and tell the world?

This thread is always here, with many people willing to listen, but in truth it's you that has to make the decisions, so if anyone says 'stay' or 'go', they are both wrong decisions, as it's not your decision. Only you will know what to do, the whole story and what remains in the relationship that can be salvaged.

My poor cat has got through the weekend. It's just a matter of time now. We've had to bathe her today, as she keeps going to the loo and she smelt all nasty from half way down and on her head from where she's be tucking her head around her legs etc when she sleeps. We were very gentle and now she's sleeping. She wasn't best pleased but she knew we were trying to help. Can't stop the tears though. She's never hurt anyone, never started a fight with any of her sisters/brother, yet she has have an illness She's very brave and i'm very proud of her.

itunes Tuesday is the day Heart Radio give codewords every hour from 11-4pm for you to try and win 20 downloads as they pick 50 winners at random same format at 7pm-10pm but 5 winners chosen from 7pm -10pm for 100 downloads.

I think Heart is our new local radio now as well. I think they took over a few local stations and have the odd time when DJ's local to that area are on, whereas most of it is the same DJ all across the Heart network. I'm not 100% as I don't listen to Radio - I turn on Music Channels for my music, as I get to tape all the Britney vids

The cat is being brave. She's in no pain, but she's frustrated and tired. She's been sitting up for the last hour or so and has generally been doing much better in the last 24 hours, although I know it won't last. Sadly she thinks i'm trying to con her, so she will barely eat She can't resist Tuna yet though, so that's the one thing she will eat.
