Baby guinea pigs are easy because you don't really have to do anything. They drink milk from their mother and start eating out of the food bowl too as soon as they are born. You just have to make sure you have the sort of cage that they can't jump out of when you clean them out. Sometimes they are running in all directions as soon as you open the door. A cage with a lidded top is the best, which is what we have.
I think we are going to keep a girl, probably one of the pretty ginger ones. We are all guineapig mad here and they are really my daughter's pets. They do all the looking after and cleaning out. I taught them from a young age that if they wanted a pet then they had to be responsible and look after it and not leave it to me. I'll try and post a picture when I get a chance - they are gorgeous!0 -
LM, I love that angel costume. Very pretty. Is it for a party? Ive never been to a halloween party - not a proper one with apples bobbing etc anyway!:D0

Warning! I'm in a bad mood! I keep getting really angry these days and smashing things, as opposed to people, up.
Flatmate gets the brunt of my verbal abuse, some of it deserved, some of it not.

Hi guys!
Good morning all.Of course that's just a personal opinion and remains yet to be proven.
I hope everyone remembered to put their clocks back an hour this morning? Tiffy did and that's why Tiffy was up at tiffing 2.55am instead of 3.55am!Accordingly, you are all advised not to make any sudden moves and to keep your hands away from any moving parts.
And of course, it's going to be a very busy day - just what I need! I've got washing up to do, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, tidying, a shower to have, a very crucial Tiff letter to write and a dinner to cook. After doing all this, I will then have to focus on what's usually a complicated conversation and miss out on my catnaps. Yes guys, all this is because Son of Tiff is coming home for half term later today from London and he he'll go back very early Friday morning. Bless him, I do love him and I have missed him very muchly because he spent only 2 weeks home here in the summer as he was trying to find work. Ooh - I'd better polish the fridge too, seeing as that'll be the kitchen object he'll come into contact with the most during his stay!
I'll be in and out of here posting though, as and when the medications kicks in.
A little something to keep you company then...
Be kind to yourself guys.
Much Love,
Tiff xxx"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." ~ by Peace Pilgrim.***'You just got Tiffed!'***0 -

Hi meyore hun :hello:
Glad to hear you're feeling better, I'm feeling much better too... almost human infact lol. More energy so got a few things done today. Got some over-winter veggies planted out in the garden, under some protective fleece. Was quite nice being out in the garden and getting some fresh air. Also potted up my christmas hyancinths - hopefully will make nice presents.
beachbeth - those baby guinea pigs are adorable! When we were kids my cousin had two guinea pigs - called "Theodore" and "Piglet" - and they were just the loveliest creatures.
Hope everyone's doing ok and had a nice weekend. Am trying not to think about going back to you-know-where tomorrow:rolleyes:
Much love to everyone,
