he had a read through some fact sheets giving to me and i said do you understand now how hard it is for me living with it. HIs response: what about how hard it is for me putting up with it all

AAAAAGH! I've been on both sides of the depression divide and I can say that when your OH has a MH issue, it's tough, that's for sure. Very tough. But it's ten times worse to suffer from the darn thing.

hi confused and welcome to the thread, we're a lovely bunch in here

emweaver, my ex was like that, calling me names and putting me down all time, made me feel worse, best thing i did was get rid of him, obviously i'm not telling you to do same, my ex was a control freak too, wasnt allowed out without his permission etc.
i definatly agree with amber, living with the condition is much worse, than living with somebody who suffers from it.
    big hugs

  • You're not going mad. Your husband, dear girl, is a d**k.

I've got my back covered in sticky tape as I'm having allergy tests, so I can't shower for four days  Good old strip wash I think in the meantime, otherwise nobody will sit next to me on the bus. Although that might be a good thing :D
