    HI All

Milly - Hope you can get to a doctor sooner - or maybe present yourself to A&E?

Scorgeous - you must be so worried. Can you ask the receptionist to contact you if there are any cancellations before Thursday? The other thing to say in well done for checking yourself - I'm really bad and rarely do.

I am feeling really stressed today - I knew this week would be awful but it is getting worse. There is so much to do at work that I have no idea when or even if I can do what I need to do. Usually I work later in the evenings and at weekends but as you know, I have been working on the assignment.

I have a dilemma at the moment. I have a workshop for my course on Friday and it will have some teaching and a revision session. I have also been invited to an interview on that day. I have mixed feelings about the job but had hoped interview would help me decide if I wanted the job. I have asked the company if they can move the interview and am waiting to hear.

    My list for today
    • work on assignment
    • call bank and get them to refund DFS payment under the DD guarantee
    • iron 10 items of clothing
    • storecupboard dinner
    • do something to relax
    • text friends to arrange night out.
    Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone, thanks for get well messages yesterday.
Millie - I saw the thread yesterday, sorry you are feeling so ill, hope they get to the bottom of it soon. I have endometriosis and a lot of your symptoms do sound similar, however, this wont be picked up on the scan. An endometrioma will (cyst made of endometrium, which is usually found inside womb), endometriosis is simply womb tissue found growing anywhere else except inside the womb, it is extremely painful. No scans or blood tests will detect it, it is diagnosed by them making a small incision and using a camera to spot it.

Anyway, had a very productive DFW day, despite not feeling well
    - been to docs, being put on sick for 4 weeks
    - phoned an old bank a/c I dont use to close, instead they put it on where i wont get charged forusing it, as I currently do
    - chased up a few enquiries about my investment properties
    - sent some info requested by accountant
    - phoned tax credits to change some details, wont really affect hw much i get but want them to have correct details
    - wrote some cheques for bills
    - worked out me and partner equal in moneys for household, we both had lots of expenses to pay out lately
    - will use some of the veg in fridge that has seen better days for tea
    - hopefully my mate can give me a lift somewhere later to save taxi money, not allowed to drive (or drink alcohol) at all on these tablets
    - I feel like I have done a little financial spring clean today, so I might deserve to treat myself to some ice cream later (just incase there was a power cut and the Ben & jerrys went off)

Today, I have done a pile of washing which is now drying on the indoor airer.
I have started compiling notes and doing a spot of research for my two remaining assignments (procrastination abounds at the mo:rolleyes: )
Have read emails and am in the process of deciding whether or not £240 for a stand at a wedding fair is worth it?
    Checked online banking
    Had a no spend day:j
Made lunch - left over chicken breast from yesterday with a few old salad leaves (the packet claims they are out of date) with some beetroot.
Tonight will either spag bol or savoury mince - it might be savoury mince as I haven't had that for ages, just make up as usual and sling some peas in it.

Oh wow, I've just been to Lidl!!!!! :j :j

Never been in there before, but saw an ad in the paper yesterday for bags of spuds at 50p. So popped in on way home from work....need to go back when not rushing!! Wow, its amazing!! Yes some of it is a bit crud, but there are definitely bargains to be had!

Got me spuds - 50p, cucumber 50p, huge net of tomatoes £1.48, 1.5 litre long life apple juice 84p, & 10 eggs 97p! All stuff that is way cheaper than I would pay in Mr T!! :T :T :T :j :j :j Will go back later in the week & have a proper look!

Got lovely chicken casserole in the slow cooker, smells fab, DH is off today & has cut grass, he's so good on his days off! He'll do all kinds if I ask him to - clean bathroom, change beds, hoover, etc etc, he's wonderful!

Re: Chicken casserole. Made it using already cooked chicken from roast yesterday. If there is any left, can it be reheated again, or frozen? Just wondering, as the chicken has already been cooked, cooled, & now casseroled, iyswim? Dont want to poison any of us!!

Thanks, so if there's any left I could cool it, then take it for lunch tomorrow and heat it up again, as it would have been:

    Cooked (roast)
    Cooled
    Recooked (casserole)
    Cooled
    Reheated (leftover)

    Brilliant! Cheers!

Cheapest one I found quickly looking was
    Wilkinsons
http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0248585 (3.99) _ I dont get that store here but they do online too.
LOL did you sense I was in Wilkos?! I popped in earlier and bought a 4 tier mini greenhouse for £14.99 (link above is just for the cover), also picked up more trays and cells to keep me going. Need some compost soon, will buy some when I do the recycling. Bought a HUGE tomato pot to put my basil in, so that should be happy, its going mad in the kitchen window. Woman in Wilkos said humph its cheaper to just go to Tesco lol. Trouble is, I get a bit of a high growing something myself :rotfl:You dont often get that from shopping in Tesco ;)

    My searches uncovered:
    £11.06 for a 3 tier in Argos
£19.99 for a 4 tier in my local garden centre
    £14.99 for a 4 tier in Wilkos
    £15.00 for a 3 tier on Tesco.com

And if anyone is going for growbags then Aldi is cheapest at £1.19 a bag.

Hi Cleos mum, not sure about greenhouse, I want 1 too so if you find 1 let me know!!
I got the CTF through engage mutual assurance, the deals are on quidco and topcashback £50 cashback and the £30 boots vouchers is if you set up a DD for £10 a month, doesnt specify how long DD needs to be set up for so going to let it run for a couple of months then cancel it!!

See above for greenhouse finds, be careful when looking as often they do the cover on its own, no idea why!

Argh at Engage! Thats who we are currently with, got lured by a deal lol. They never bother to send the yearly statement, I have to badger them and in one year they managed to halve the amount that was put in
