Monday 30/3/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

:DWhen we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Today i will:
  • check online banking
  • update spreadsheets
  • storecupboard lunch and tea
  • check and water all my plants and seedlings
  • lttle bit of hokey cokey
  • little bit of ironing
  • clean one room so no housework at weekend
  • aim for no spend day
  • swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
  • try and make DD the flapjacks I have been aiming to do for past two days
  • sparkleconfetti2.gif

    Good Morning all,
SM - thank you, still not good, thoroughly fed up with it now:(
I'm meant to be back at work today, but I can't do it so going to go in and see them, speak to my line manager and let her see I am struggling! I always worry they don't beleive me! And I'll ring the doctor too, he said to go back if it gets worse and it has - kept waking up with a sharp pain and can't move!

Anyway...will attempt to keep up the dfw-ness...here's a few things:
    • check banking
    • scratchcards
    • NSD hopefully, don't need anything
    • meal from meal plan
    • heating off
    • read paper online
Ok, that's my lot:o Have a good day all....
I really need to sort out a new signature!

So far this morning I have:

    Seen to animals

In a minute I will get on and do the following:
