If you go to https://www.swapitshop.com click on swapits offers you can get 50p off of each item at CD Wow. It takes you to a CD Wow webpage where everything is 50p cheaper than normal. If you have kids, swapitshop is a good site for them to sign up to anyway, and there is a thread on online and offline discount vouchers with swapit codes (thanks peteraj)Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

https://www.cd-wow.com\smartsave is back up!!!! 20% of everything just in time for Christmas!!! Looks like they've tightened security on it as the same card number cannot be used by more than one person at a time. Go get a Barclays account for a Smartsave card. I got one just for this offer alone!!Giving up is easy...... just keep on trying!0

Do you mean that a smartsave card number is attached to an account and cant be used with any other ?0 -
No you have to get a paticular account and they will give you a Smartsave card. I simply went into my local branch asked what I needed to do to get a Smartsave card, they then took me to a desk I filled in some forms and had one delivered to my house 5 days later and have been getting stuff at silly cheap prices from CD WOW for months now. It's well worth the time and effort.Giving up is easy...... just keep on trying!0

The security basically means that no one else can use your smartsave number because you have to type it into the actual page before the discounts are applied. They probably have a way of checking if two people are using the same card number at the same time. Also, I have never used my barclays account, I just use the smartsave number!0 -

Do you pay a monthly fee for this. Have emailed Barclays and asked them what account I need - they said Additions account and gave me this link http://www.personal.barclays.co.uk/BRC1/jsp/brccontrol?task=articleFWgroup&site=pfs&value=8632&menu=3555. However, the details on this account state you have to pay a minimum of £4 per month, increasing to £5 per month in January. I was wondering whether if you actually set the account up in the branch whether you are still charged this fee or whether they are able to do something to waive it? I would have to buy many more CDs than I do to save more than £60 per year!!0 -

If it is not a student account then you do have to pay £4 per month. But it also included mobile phone insurance and certain other features.
If you consider just mobile phone insurance, it already works out cheaper than getting it elsewhere.0 -
I noticed the Smartsave link was working about 2 days ago but tried it again now and even after entering my number the page just remains the same, i.e. it doesn't say the usual blurb about 'thanks and the site is now discounted by 20%' the page loads and then nothing.
Anyone else experiencing problems?0
