    the recipe sounds lovely and brings back memorys, i loved chocolate pudding so much my first word was cocoa :D

    Does anyone know how to make 'Mint' custard ? Cant find it in the shops , but it goes really well with chocolate sponge pudding. Many years since i have tasted it , but it was good !

    I have never made it but if you have a look on google there are lots of recipes for mint custard.

    never heard of it but i would think you would infuse the milk with mint leaves prior to making the custard, or add a few drops of peppermint escence

    My auntie was a dinner lady and she said the school mint custard was just ordinary custard with a bit of green food colouring and some peppermint esscence :)

    Have decided to make fudge tart using the recipe on here but cannot find a recipe for the chocolate custard that used to go with it at school, its prob staring me in the face;).But does anyone have the recipe to share please:)

    I would make drinking chocolate and thicken it up with cornflour, Think that would work.
