It's my brother's birthday today and I've made chocolate pudding for tea.
I would like to make a chocolate custard for tea but only have Green and Blacks instant hot chocolate and a packet of instant custard powder left in the cupboard.
I used the cocoa up making the pud.
How do I make the custard chocolately or is this impossible without cocoa?
Help please. :heartpuls

I am sure the green and blacks drinking shoc would be fine, add less sugar to the custard powder as there is allready sugar in that drinking chocolate.

But how much should I put in? Its an instant packet mix as well not proper custard power. :S0

I would make the custard up first and add a bit of the choc drink at a time and keep tasting untill yummy if it starts to get to thick then just add more milk or water whichever your using to make the custard.
hope this helpsOfficial DFW NERD 189

I agree with gettingitsorted. We often have as dessert just a bowl of custard. And if we want it to be chocolate custard we sprinkle hot chocolate granules over the top and then mix.
One bowl of chocolate custard.
Hope it tastes nice.

Sorry I don't know how to make chocolate custard but your post has just awoken a memory of how delicious it actually is.
I remember it used to be possible to buy the instant version too, came in a packet & you mixed with water. When my son was younger I always used to keep a couple of these in my store cupboard for emergencies.
Re the pink custard, can't you just use pink blamounge powder? The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
