PC running slower... HijackThis LOG posted

Hi there

Many be coincidence but since installing IE8 a week or so ago, this PC seems to be running slower, especially when on the web. Have posted a LOG below - any ideas as to what might have happened?

Thanks!

Will hold fire on Kaspersky given it's bundled with the Post Office package (and have had probs with it previously)!

Have fixed other things and run a quick scan of Malwarebytes. All clear apparently. Will do a full scan now.

its your computer. But as its broken id REALLY recommend following my advice at it simply might not be doing its job (Which means you have software running thats useless, and possibly allowing infections on your computer as it cant stop them)

Noted - and I will be following your advice. What I should have said is that Post Office know there's a prob with this software on my PC and are calling me back today to resolve it. Cos' it came bundled with broadband package and cos' I need a 'light' version of NetIntelligence, uninstalling and reinstalling hasn't proven to be that simple!!!

Kaspersky has a physical file missing. Without removing it and reinstalling it I cant see how theyre going to get it working properly

    Still ~ its your call

I'm losing count as to how many times it's been reinstalled already since October. From what you say it looks like they'll be reinstalling it again! Thanks for your help and I'll point them at this LOG and your comments.
